APERA LabSen763 Blade Spear pH Electrode User Manual

LabSen electrochemical sensors are premium pH electrode with manufacturing technology and key components imported from Switzerland. LabSen763 places the tapered glass membrane in a stainless steel shaft with blade. This probe is suitable for pH measuring of fish, meat and meat products.

This Electrode has following features:

  • Adopts food grade stainless steel blade and sheath, offers strong protection, comply with food hygiene requirements, suitable for food pH testing.
  • Blue gel inner solution, does not flow and will not cause bubble.
  • Maintenance-free polymer electrolyte, non-diaphragm structure.
  • Long life reference system, has better stability and service life.

Usage and Maintenance

  1. When measuring, please unscrew the bottle cap, pull out the electrode and rinse it with deionized water. After using, please put the electrode back into the bottle and screw tight the cap.
    Usage and Maintenance

  2. The electrode’s measuring tip should be soaked in the soaking bottle containing certain amount of Protelyte soaking solution to keep the membrane hydrated and junction unblocked. Clean the bottle and replace the storage solution if the storage solution gets turbid and mildewed. The electrode should never be sinked in pure water or buffer solution for long.

  3. Please forcibly even when piercing into meat (especially frozen meat); do not bend it to prevent damage of the tapered membrane. Wash the electrode and the stainless steel sheath with soapy water after measurement, the stainless blade can be screwed off and cleaned if necessary.

  4.  The electrode must be soaked in Protelyte solution for storage. Because after long time exposure in air, Polymer electrolyte will cause shrinkage.

  5. The connector of the electrode should keep clean and dry. If being contaminated, please clean it with medical cotton and absolute alcohol and blow dry to prevent the short circuit of the electrode and slow reaction of electrode.

  6. The stainless steel sheath and blade have a specially treated coating, it is absolutely forbidden to damage the coating with sandpaper or blade, otherwise the stainless steel sheath and blade will get rust in Protelyte solution.

  7. After 1-year of use, we recommend replacing the electrode to ensure the best accuracy.

Warranty
