This awning can be installed by an individual but must be done with care. If in doubt about the smooth running and safety of your installation, call a professional.
Do not allow children to play with the awning. Keep the awning out of reach of the children;
The awning must be installed properly. A minimum of two people are required with personal protective equipment (PPE) and the appropriate equipment. If there is a problem, please consult a person qualified on this product for assistance.
Frequently examine the installation in order to detect any sign of wear or damage. Do not use the awning if repair is required.
Observe the safety instructions to prevent damage from incorrect use! Obey all warnings on the awning manual and on the awning.
This is a product that presents a risk of falling and serious bodily injury. All the assembly steps must be scrupulously respected. A misalignment of the brackets or incorrect installation can cause the  lind to fall or break. It is important for personal safety to follow these instructions.
An awning is naturally subject to very strong mechanical stresses due to a significant lever arm (or cantilever) between the wall brackets and the load bar. An awning is not designed to withstand gusts  f wind (even weak) and rain (pockets of water)  which cause heavy overloads on the structure. In the event of unfavorable weather or when you are not using it, fold up the awning.
CAUTIONS:

• Always use on flat level ground.
• For use only to shut out the sunlight.
• Protect from severe weather conditions.
• This product is not intended for use as a permanent structure.
• Always remove roof in windy conditions.

SAFETY:

• Always place the standing awning on a flat level surface.
• Read and follow the assembly instructions carefully.
• Do not leave the standing awning during adverse weather conditions.
• This standing awning is only showerproof and should not be left up in heavy rain.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• To maintain the quality of the standing awning, take down after each use and ensure is fully dry before storing.
• Wipe clean using a moist cloth and mild detergent.
• Do not use abrasive materials or cleaners.
• Allow to fully dry before storing.

Please follow these simple instructions to ensure safe and prolonged use of your standing awning.

• Do not erect in adverse weather conditions.
• Dismantle between uses.
• Store in a dry place.
• Allow to dry before storing.

Loosen the knob on bar(1), then turn the band crank(2) to close the awing. Until bar(1)is vertical to the ground, tighten the knob.
