About your new thermostat

Operational overview

The Wireless thermal stat operates in one of 2 modes: Autonomous and Active.

Autonomous mode:
In this mode, WTS is put in ultra low power configuration, wakes up after a specific of time to update the Standby page. Depends on user setting, Wireless thermal stat displays data and features according to that configuration.

Office hours / AH is not active

AH is active

Active mode:
In this mode, WTS allows the user to interact with the config pages via the touch buttons. When the built-in proximity sensor detects the presence of a user, the WTS wakes from standby, and allows the user to access the config pages.

Temperature Set page:
After waking the device you open the Temperature Set page(1.1). Use the “Up”(1.2) “Down“(1.3) arrow buttons to adjust the set point for Temperature Control.

Page switching:
Use the Page Switch (middle) button (1.4) to navigate between pages.

Timer Set page:
Navigating to the after hours Timer Set Page (2.1). Users have the ability to adjust the after hours timer using the “Up”(1.2) “Down“(1.3) arrow buttons.

Readings page:
Navigating to the Readings Page (3.1), users can view a range of sensor readings.

Installing your thermostat and pairing

You might need the following tools to install this thermostat:

  • No.2 Phillips screwdriver
  • Small pocket screwdriver
  • Pencil
  • Level (optional)
  • Drill and bits (3/16” for drywall, 7/32” for plaster) (optional)
  • Hammer (optional)
  • Batteries 3X 3.6V

Step 1: Unscrew the backplate screw and open the backplate
Step 2: Place the 3x 3.6V batteries checking the polarity directions on the backside
Step 3: Use the backplate to drill and screw it into the wall
Step 4: Press and hold the pair button on the backside and check for blue blinking leds

Step 5: Press and hold the pairing button on the gateway at the same time as the thermostat, check out for green leds which would mean paired
Step 6: Place back the thermostat on the backplate and check out for a click sound to ensure the device is correctly locked in
Step 7: Screw and lock it

Unpairing your thermostat

Step 1 – Press and hold the pairing button on the thermostat and check out for blue lights blinking.
The thermostat has been successfully unpaired from the gateway

Features of your thermostat

With your new thermostat, you can:

  • Connect to the gateway to monitor and control your heating/cooling system
  • View and change your heating/cooling system settings
  • View and set temperature schedules

Your new thermostat provides:

  • Smart Response Technology
  • Monitor your temperature through the onboard e-paper screen
  • Adjust time settings for active and inactive hours
