Product Usage Instructions:

Setting up the MB-XHT Door Button Transmitter:

1. Install the battery:

2. Remove the front cover of the MB-XHT Door Button using a
   Phillips screwdriver. Remove the four screws to access the battery
   carriage.

3. Insert the CR-2 battery into the battery carriage.

4. Reattach the front cover using the four Phillips screws.

5. Mount the MB-XHT:

6. Remove the four Phillips screws holding the front cover to
   access the back mounting plate.

7. Attach the backplate of the MB-X5 by inserting screws into the
   four mounting holes.

RF Exposure Compliance:

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits.
Ensure a minimum distance of 5mm between the transmitter and your
body. Do not operate this transmitter in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.

Instruction Manual
The MB-XHT Heavy-Duty Warehouse Door Button transmits a signal to your MB-X5 Receiver Chime each time it is pressed. You can connect up to 16 MB-XHT transmitters to a single MB-X5 receiver chime. The MB-XHT Includes:
MB-XHT Heavy-Duty Door Button CR2 battery Instruction Manual Four mounting screws Setting up the MB-XHT Door Button Transmitter: 1. Install the battery
a. Remove the front cover of the MB-XHT Door Button using a Phillips screwdriver. There are four screws that will need to be removed to remove the front cover and access the battery carriage. (See Image 1 & 2)
b. Insert the CR-2 battery into the battery carriage. (See Image 3)

c. Reattach the front cover of the door button using the four Phillips screws.

2. Pair the MB-XHT Door Button Transmitter with the MB-X5 Chime Receiver a. You can connect up to 16 transmitters to your MB-X5 chime receiver. b. Begin by placing your MB-XHT door button next to your MB-X5 chime receiver. c. Press and hold the “M” (mode) button for three seconds to enter programming mode. The blue lights on the MB-X5 chime will flash four times. Release the “M” button. d. Press the volume button to scroll through the 16 available tones until you find the one you like. Stop on the tone that you like. e. Press the MB-X5 door button once to select the tone on the MB-X5 chime receiver. f. The MB-X5 chime will beep with the successful paring. g. If you are paring more than one transmitter button or device repeat steps “a” through “f” for each transmitter. h. After your transmitters are paired with the chime press than hold the “M” (mode) button for 3 seconds until the blue lights stop flashing. i. Test the MB-XHT door button by pressing the button. You will hear the paired tone on the MB-X5 chime receiver and the blue LED lights will flash.

3. Adding an additional door button using your MB-XHT as a wireless transmitter (Optional) ­ Additional wired doorbell buttons that are normally open N/O momentary contacts can added to the MB-XHT transmitter. a. Remove the four Phillips screws from the face of the MB-XHT door button. b. Open the terminals on the MB-XHT using a small flathead screwdriver. (See Image 4) c. Insert low-voltage wire through the silicone gasket and into the terminals. i. For a normally open N/O button, insert the wires into the N/O and common terminals. ii. For a normally closed N/C button, insert the wires into the the N/C and common terminals. d. After inserting the wires, tighten the terminal screws with a small flathead screwdriver.

4. Mount the MB-XHT a. Remove the four Phillips screws holding the front cover of the MB-XHT to access the back mounting plate. b. Attach the backplate of the MB-X5 by inserting screws into the four mounting holes. (See Image 5)
