Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Firmware Update
Ensure you are using a desktop computer, preferably a MAC/Apple
Computer, for the firmware update.
Step 2: File Download
Do not change the file name. Download the firmware file only
once. Multiple downloads or files with numbers beside them will
cause the update to fail.
Step 3: Check Firmware Status
Wait for the camera to show either connection success or
connection failed before accessing the MENU to verify the firmware
status. If firmware is up to date, you can proceed to the next
steps.
Step 4: Testing
To send a test photo to the app, follow the provided
instructions. If the test photo is received on the app, you can
proceed to work mode and trigger photos as needed.

FILE CANNOT BE OPENED! *This Firmware update Cannot be done on a Tablet or with a cellular device.
SD CARD SPECIFICATIONSOur cameras function with a Standard SD card, Class 10,
between 8-32 GB. We ONLY recommend Sony, ONN, or Covert SD cards. We don’t
recommend using San Disk brand, as they do not meet the requirements for the
cameras. Please, don’t use any cards that say Ultra/Ultra Plus, High
Performance, Platinum, Extreme, Premium, Tough, HD/High definition, Plus,
Elite, Pro, Image Mate, Edge, MICRO adapter, etc. These types of SD cards do
not work well with our devices. They are designed to operate at a faster speed
than our cameras’ capability. This will cause the internal components to
malfunction.
Before Beginning· Make sure your SD card is formatted. If there are any other files on the SD card, the firmware will not update. · You can do this on the camera in the ON Position. You must wait for the camera to either “connection success” or “connection failed” before it will let you into the MENU. (This can take a couple minutes) · Once you see either, hit the MENU(M) button, arrow RIGHT to FORMAT, Select OK, arrow to YES, Select OK. · Arrow right to Default, select OK, (on the keypad), arrow to YES, Select OK. (This will restore camera back to factory settings.) · You can then turn the camera OFF.
STEP 1 · Insert the SD card into the computer!
STEP 2 -Please do not change the file name! Only download the File once! If
you download the individual file more than once and there is a number beside
them (1),(2) and so on. Any of these things will cause the update to be
unsuccessful.
(Using a Windows Computer) · Download the WC20 firmware file. · (If you do not
have a “Download” option. You will have “SAVE AS”, do not change the file
name!) · You can then minimize your browser.
· You will then need to open your downloads folder. · You should see the file
[CT66ONx55.J7Z]. You can then Left click & hold, drag, and drop it onto your
main
desktop.
· Once on your desktop. You can then pull up your FILE Explorer
· Once opened, on the left side scroll to the bottom and click on the SDHC
file SD card is reading as.
· You will then Left click & hold, drag, and drop the file from the desktop
onto the SD card. · *Please make sure this file is the only thing on the SD
card [CT66ONx55.J7Z].

· Download the WC20 firmware file and drop it onto your Removable disk or SD
icon.(Whichever it reads as) · *Please make sure this file is the only thing
on the SD card [CT66ONx55.J7Z].
STEP 3 · With camera in the OFF position, Insert the SD card and turn the
camera ON. · Once the camera screen turns ON. It will ask YES or NO for
updating, you will arrow to YES and press OK. · Camera will show in percentage
as the firmware is updating.
*You must wait for the camera to either “connection success” or “connection failed” before it will let you into the MENU to check that the firmware is up to date.
· Once you see “success” or “failed”, hit the MENU button, arrow to the right
to FIRMWARE version, You can check that the current firmware reads CT660Nx055.
IF the firmware is up to date, you can turn the camera OFF proceed with the
next steps below.
STEP 4To send a TEST photo to the app, follow the instructions below.
· Put the camera into the ON position and wait for it to show “connection
success”. · Once you receive “connection success” Press the left arrow key 1
time. (It will pop up a few different things
during this cycle) · Once you see “Upload Thumbnail”, when that goes away,
check your app for the manual photo.
*If the manual photo was received on the app, you can let the camera countdown to WORKMODE and let it trigger photos!
