Explanation of warning symbols
WARNING – Disregard can lead to injury, death or damage the system.
CAUTION – Recommended to avoid dysfunction or premature ageing of the equipment etc.
INFORMATION – Refer to the respective document.
WEEE – The WEEE Symbol means that a device must be disposed of separately from general household waste. When a device reaches the end of its lifespan,it must be taken to a designated waste collection point for safe disposal or recycling.
When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
WARNING – To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use this
product unless they are closely supervised at all times.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of electric shock, replace damaged cords immediately
WARNING – Where multiple PV modules are installed, suitable fuse link which complies with IEC/EN 60269-2 should be installed.
WARNING – The On/Off switch is a functional switch and does not disconnect power. A PV Disconnect switch meeting the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-3 and rated at 60 V DC and minimum 25 A DC must be installed for safe isolation of the pump controller.
WARNING – When the photovoltaic array is exposed to light, it supplies a DC voltage to the controller.
WARNING – Make sure that the controller is unplugged when installing the pump system.
WARNING – Do not try to open the controller.
This will damage the controller and voids thewarranty.
WARNING – Only connect equipment that was provided by the manufacturer or supplier to this pump.
WARNING – Disconnect power from the controller before disconnecting the motor.
WARNING – Disconnect power then disconnect the pump cable before attempting to clean the pump.
CAUTION – This pump is only for use in water only. It is not certified for
salt water or swimming pool use.
CAUTION – PV modules must be of type IEC 61730 Class II.
CAUTION – Do not connect the pump to any other controller other than the one supplied with the pump. Do not use the controller with any other pump.
CAUTION – Keep pump out of direct sun during installation to avoid overheating.
CAUTION – We recommend to use only one extension cable. Using multiple extension cables will reduce system performance.
INFORMATION – This pump and controller are certified for indoor and outdoor
use.
Temperature classes
Ensure the pump class is suitable for the water temperature. See Figure 1 and Table 2.

Maintenance / servicing
There are no user serviceable parts in the controller or motor. Do not open the controller or motor
Check cables for signs of wear or damage before each use. If cables are worn or damaged please refer to the retailer or supplier of the pump system.
