Explanation of warning symbols
WARNING – Disregard can lead to injury, death or damage the system
WEEE – The WEEE Symbol means that a device must be disposed of separately
from general household waste. When a device reaches the end of its lifespan,
it must be taken to a designated waste collection point for safe disposal or
recycling.
When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
WARNING – To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use
this product unless they are closely supervised at all times
WARNING – To reduce the risk of electric shock, replace damaged cords
immediately
WARNING – Due to local laws an external fuse might be necessary
WARNING – When the photovoltaic array is exposed to light, it supplies a
DC voltage to the controller
WARNING – Make sure that the controller is unplugged when installing the
pump system
WARNING – Do not try to open the controller. This will damage the
controller and voids the waranty
WARNING – Only connect equipment that was provided by the manufacturer or
supplier to this pump
CAUTION – Keep pump out of direct sun during installation to avoid
overheating.
CAUTION – We recommend to use only one extension cable. Using multiple
extension cables will reduce system performance.
Figure 1: Pump end naming
Ensure the pump class is suitable for the water temperature. See Figure 1 and
Table 2.
Table 2: Meaning of temperature classes:
Temperature class | Water temperature range |
---|---|
2 | 20 to 30 °C (68 to 86 °F) |
3 | 30 to 40 °C (86 to 104 °F) |
4 | 40 to 50 °C (104 to 122 °F) |
