ALISEO Hotel Hair Dryer Instruction Manual

Read all instructions before use.

ATTENTION : The appliance must be installed by a qualified staff only.

Safety instructions

  • Mains voltage Connect only to current 220-240 V. This appliance meets EEC directive 73/23 and EEC directive 88/336 modified by EEC directive 93/68.
  • The appliance is not suitable for sustained continuous use.
  • CAUTION!!! Never use the hair dryer in the vicinity of baths, wash basins or other vessels containing water. Do not submerge in water, wet clean or use with wet hands. Never use hairspray while the appliance is switched on. Always unplug, switch off the wall bracket switch or disconnect from main after use. Never cover the air suction or exhaust opening. For more protection we advice installing a differential current device in the electrical circuit that supplies power to bathroom. The nominal functioning of this differential circuit must not exceed 30 mA. For more advice contact a electrician. Never let children use the appliance without supervision.
  • Overheating protection The appliance switches off automatically in the case of thermal overload. When this happens, turn the switch to “Off” or release the push button and eliminate the external causes of overheating, e. g. clogged air intake. Once the appliance has cooled down it will be ready to use again in a few minutes. Defective hair dryers may only be repaired by qualified experts.
  • Care As a general rule, the mains plug must be disconnected, or in the case of hair dryers with wall bracket, the switch on the wall bracket must be switched to “OFF”: Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and clean the mesh with a fine brush or vacuum cleaner.
  • Disposal
    This product must be delivered at the end of its service life at a collection point for the recycling by electric and electronic devices.

Mounting Instructions

To be fitted by a qualified expert taking due the consideration of existing national safety regulations. In rooms containing showers or baths the wall bracket may not be fitted within the safety zone stipulated in regulation EN 60364-7-701:1995. The wall bracket should be fitted at a height of at least 150 cm above the floor.

Safety Distances

Electric appliances must be wired to the electric circuit in a minimum distance of 60 cm from shower cabirs and bath tubs and of 120 cm from shower heads.

Installation sequence

For fixed connection lead

  • 1. Break the punch-out (1) in the back panel of the wall bracket.
  • 5. Pull the connecting wires (2) coming out of the wall through the opened lead through (1)
  • 6. Fix the back panel to the wall using normal plugs and screws (3).
  • 7. Fix the connecting wires (2) in the terminal (4) as illustrated. To do so, remove the terminal (4) and then put it back again.
  • 8 After testing the hair dryer, place the wall bracket housing
    ‘over the assembly and fasten with the housing screw (5).

With additional cord and plug for socket connection lead (B):

  • 1. Break the punch-out (8) in the lower edge of the back panel
    to accommodate the second tension relief (7).

  • 6 Fix the back panel to the wall sing normal plugs and screws (3).

  • 3. Slip the second tension relief 7) over the additional connecting cable with plug.

  • 4 Fix the connecting wires (8) in the terminal (4) as illustrated. To do so, remove the terminal (4) and then put t back again.

  • 5. Place the tension relief (7) in the provided slot and secure the connecting cable illustrated with strain relief(9) using two screws.

  • 6 After testing the hair dryer, place the wall bracket housing over the assembly and fasten with the housing screw (5).

The Aliseo hair dryers are fully guaranteed against defective materials and faulty workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of sale, subject to being installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Due to the significant variation in tradesmen’s knowledge, experience, and productivity, labour charges will NOT be accepted unconditionally. We strongly recommend contacting our office for advice before proceeding with any warranty repairs.

This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, abuse, and dropping the hair dryer, or from hair blocking air inlets. Warranties are restricted to guestrooms and in-room use only, and installation in other areas such public areas, gymnasiums, pool changing rooms is at the owner’s risk.

Note: Our warranty only extends to products purchased and installed in New Zealand.
