We are now looking to strengthen our team with the addition of a Sales Support
Engineer, who will form a key part of our highly focused International Sales
and Installed Sound development team. With a growing family of Installed Sound
solutions including our hugely popular Smart IP range of networked
loudspeakers and subwoofers this is a unique opportunity to bring your
skills to a globally respected audio company with an ever-increasing profile
in the world of Installed Sound.
As Sales Support Engineer you will be responsible for helping to strengthen
and develop the Genelec Installed Sound brand internationally, with a
particular focus on service delivery, ensuring that our customers can succeed,
and get the very best performance from our products.
You will have advanced knowledge and previous experience of audiovisual system
design, integration, installation and fulfilling customer demands, with an
understanding of IP network-based solutions and a good knowledge of the
Installed Sound market and industry network.
You will need to be an outgoing, articulate and proactive team player with a
technical hands-on approach to solving customer challenges. You will also have
experience in training, actively creating opportunities, and building customer
and partner relationships.

Key job responsibilities:
· Delivering sales success and support activities for audiovisual consultants,
system integrators and installers representing the Installed Sound segment and
product portfolio
· Providing sales and technical support, system design and depending on
experience; control system programming, system integration, design and
simulation software, etc.
· Providing Genelec Installed Sound Help Desk support · Participating in
Installed Sound product and technology research and development,
testing and finding solutions · Creating training material, and executing
training globally · Participating in and setting up promotional marketing
activities and creating content for
our global marketing
Location: The primary workplace is your home address or the nearest Genelec
premises locally, if appropriate. Occasional work at the Genetec’s various
premises globally may occur. The position will require extensive international
travel.
