Session 1: Constructing First Step & Cutting

Instructions

During the first session, you will be constructing the initial
steps of the Three Fabric Bargello quilt. Follow the cutting
instructions provided to prepare for the next session.

Session 2: Chart/Pattern Detail Instructions and Piecing Quilt

Top

In the second session, detailed chart and pattern instructions
will be provided. This is where you will piece together the quilt
top using the techniques learned.

Supplies Needed:

• Three Fabric Bargello pattern (provided in the first
  class)

• Marking Pen or Pencil

• Small Safety Pins

• Quilt Ruler (6-1/2 x 24-1/2) & Cutting Mat

• Ziplock Bags (Quart or Gallon size)

• Quilt Ruler measuring at least 10 inches in length

• Rotary Cutter

• Pre-Wound Bobbins

BRIEF CLASS DESCRIPTION Three Fabric Bargello (Advanced Beginner Pattern) PRE- WASH FABRIC RECOMMENDED Finished size – Approx. 58″ x 68″ 1st Session — Constructing First Step & Cutting Instructions for Second Session 2nd Session —Chart/Pattern Detail Instructions and Piecing Quilt Top We will be learning the techniques on making Three Fabric Bargello (Lightning Bolt) by Susie Weaver.

Fabric Requirements: Pre-Wash and Starch (Heavy) before 1st Session. (Make sure to press with the Lengthwise grain line – parallel with selvage edge.) 2 yards ombre (graduation blended stripe) Accent Piece­ 2 yards (this will also include your borders) Middle Insert Piece ­ 2 Yards Outer Borders ­ 2 yards (More if you want outer borders larger) We will be doing the lightning bolt in class

Two Fabric Bargello Pattern must have before taking this class ­

Three Fabric Bargello pattern will be given at 1st class
