Product Usage Instructions

1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the DOOCK Night Vision Goggles. This
manual will explain how to use these night vision goggles and how
to maintain them, helping you optimize your user experience. Before
using the night vision goggles, please read the Manual
carefully.

2. How to Use the Infrared Night Vision Device?

1. Switch to Infrared Mode

Short press the button on the device to activate the infrared
function. The status bar on the left will display the infrared
level 1 icon, and the screen will switch to black and white.

2. Adjust Infrared Intensity

You can adjust the strength of the infrared light using the +/-
buttons on the device to suit different ambient light conditions
until you achieve the best visibility.

3. Adjust Focus

Manual focus: Use the focus ring to adjust the focus. Turn
towards the + for nearby objects and towards the – for distant
objects until the image is clear.

4. Observe or Record

Once the infrared function and focus are adjusted, you can
observe the target through the night vision device’s display
screen. This night vision device also supports video recording,
photo capturing, and playback functions.

Precautions:

  • Avoid pointing the infrared light directly at the eyes.
  • Keep the device dry during use and avoid using it in extreme
    weather conditions.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the DOOCK Night Vision Goggles.
This manual will explain how to use these night vision goggles and how to maintain them, helping you optimize your user experience. Before using the night vision goggles, please read the Manual carefully.
The night vision goggles can be used during both day and night. During the day, there is no need to activate the infrared light to view, and the mages or videos will be displayed in color. In conditions of low light or complete darkness, you can turn on the infrared light to observe the surrounding environment. During usage, you can also capture photos and videos, which will be stored in the included 32 GB TF card.
Download them to your computer by using a TF card reader or a USB cable. Note: To see the image display more clearly, please maintain a certain distance between your eyes and the eyepiece/screen while using it, and do not get too close.

How to use the Infrared Night Vision Device?
1. Switch to Infrared Mode Short press the ” ” button on the device to activate the infrared function. The status bar on the left will display the infrared level 1 icon, and the screen will switch to black and white.
2. Adjust Infrared Intensity You can adjust the strength of the infrared light using the ” ” or ” ” buttons on the device to suit different ambient light conditions, until you achieve the best visibility. Note: If you have enabled the “Mist Piercing Mode” in the settings, the first press of the ” ” button will activate the fog penetration mode. Press the ” ” button a second time to display the infrared level 1.
3. Adjust Focus Manual focus: Use the focus ring (marked with ” ” and ” ” symbols) to adjust the focus. Turn towards the ” ” for nearby objects and towards the ” ” for distant objects until the image is clear.
4. Observe or Record Once the infrared function and focus are adjusted, you can observe the target through the night vision device’s display screen. This night vision device also supports video recording, photo capturing, and playback functions, allowing you to capture exciting moments.
Precautions – Avoid pointing the infrared light directly at the eyes. Although infrared light is usually invisible, strong light can still cause eye damage. – Keep the device dry during use and avoid using it in extreme weather conditions.

User Reminders
1. Preparation before use Power Supply DOOCK night vision binoculars has a built-in 5200mAh lithium battery, which can be used up to 5 hours in night mode. Equipped with a Type-C charging cable, the indicator light is red when charging; the light turns off when fully charged. Inserting / Removing the TF Card (1)Insert the TF card into slot and push until it locks in place. (The product has been installed with the TF card inside the device before leaving the factory. Please check it.) (2)Removing TF Card: Push the TF card inward to release and remove it. (3)First-Time Use: Format the memory card initially. Note: It is recommended to use a TF card (maximum support 128GB) If no TF card is present or improperly inserted, the Video or Photo Mode will not show a TF card indicator, and the device will be unable to take photos or record videos. A “Please insert SD card” message will display if you press the OK button without a TF card.
Turn On/Off Turning On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3-4 seconds to turn the night vision goggles on or off. Note: Turn off the device before charging. If unplugged while on, the device will shut down and need to be turned on again Built-in Button Light When any button is pressed, the built-in button light will illuminate; If no operation within 5 seconds, the button light will be automatically turn off.

2. Download Files To The PC There are three ways to download images from night vision memory cards to a computer.
Use TF card reader (1)Pop up the TF card from the machine and insert the card reader to
connect to the computer. (2)Open [my computer] or windows explorer, double- click the removable
disk for the memory card. (3)Copy the file from the memory card to the computer.
Connect the device to the computer by USB Type-C cable (1)Remember to turn on the device first, then connect to the computer
by USB Type-C cable. (2)Your computer should automatically detect the device’s memory card,
showing prompts or appearing as a removable device in File Explorer. (3)Now, you can use the memory card just like any other storage device,
such as transferring files, copying photos, or performing other operations.
The video file format is MP4 (1)The device records in MP4 format, compatible with most video
applications. If you have trouble playing MP4 files, it might be due to outdated software on your Windows system. Try downloading a different media player from the App Store. (2)If you still could not solve the issue by installing a new APP, it is advised to contact our customer service for help.

Button Definition
Power Button: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds to turn on/off the
device. [Short press] turns off/on the screen, but not shuts off the program.
Camera Button: This is the Photo/ Video/ Playback Mode switch button, [short press] realizes switch between the three modes. Default mode is Video Recording after starting up. [short press] switches to Photo Mode, and to Playback Mode, again cycling back to video recording mode.
OK Button: In the Setup, [short press] selects and enters into parameter Setup. In Photo/Video Mode, [short press] starts capturing photo/recording
video. In Playback Mode, when the file is a video, [short press] indicates
play.
Menu Button: [short press] enters the Setup interface. In the Setup, [short press] returns back to the previous menu. In the Playback Album Mode, [short press] enters into the file
delete/protect Setup.

Button : In the Setup, [short press] indicates the up-scroll option. In Photo/Video Mode, [short press] increases infrared brightness. In Photo/Video Mode, [long press] zooms in with digital zoom. In Playback Album Mode, [short press] scrolls backward to view the
album. In the context of setting the Date/Time, [short press] increases the
value (eg: the year from 2023 to 2024, 2025…).
Button: In the Setup, [short press] indicates the down-scroll option. In Photo/Video Mode, [short press] decreases infrared brightness. In Photo/Video Mode, [long press] zooms out with digital zoom. In Playback Album Mode, [short press] scrolls forward to view the
album. In the context of setting the Date/Time, [short press] decreases the
value (eg: the year from 2023 to 2022, 2021..).
Reset Button: In case of the machine encountering a malfunction or the buttons
unresponsive, you can use a small tool similar to a SIM card ejector pin and perform a forced shutdown by pressing the RESET button (located below the charging port on the left side). After the device is powered off, you could try to restart it.

Adjustment Mode

There are 3 adjustable modes and you can switch between Video Mode, Photo Mode and Playback Mode by pressing the Camera button.

(1) The default is video mode after power on, if not video mode, please press the Camera button and switch to the video mode. The icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen.
(2) Press the OK button to start recording the video and press the button again to stop recording. When start recording, there will be a red circle dot blinking on the screen, indicating that the recording is in progress, and the duration will be recorded simultaneously.

2. Photo Mode

(1) The default is Video Mode after power on, please press the Camera button to switch to photo mode. The icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen.
(2) Press the OK button to take a photo.
3. Playback Mode
(1) Watching stored videos and photos: Press the Camera button and select Playback Mode. You may then toggle through your saved photos/videos with the or buttons. Press the OK button to play video.
(2) Deleting stored videos and photos: In playback mode, press the Menu button. You can use the or button to select to delete/lock the media you are viewing from the TF card,then press OK button to delete/lock the media.

Multi-Functions
1. Mist Piercing Function

Operation: Enable the Mist Piercing Mode in the setting list first, then under in the color mode, short press the IR+ button to switch to the Mist Piercing Mode. In Mist Piercing Mode: The observed target image will be displayed in black and white instead of color. The advantage: It helps users to better observe targets in foggy environments, making the images clearer and more recognizable.

2. Picture in Picture Function
Picture-in-Picture Function: Allows recording on the main screen with a small, magnified window in the top right corner. This window enlarges the central subject by 2 times for a closer view without needing digital zoom. Note: This function is only available in video mode.

3. The Screen-Off Function
(1) Screen-off function: Refers to turning off the device’s display screen to save power or prevent unnecessary distractions.
(2) Screen-off operation: It can be achieved by short-pressing the power button to toggle the screen on/off.
(3) Screen-off status: When the device is in the screen-off status, the display screen is completely turned off, but other functions and processes of the device are still running. For example, if you are recording a video, the recording process will not be interrupted when the screen is turned off.
(4) Power management: The screen-off function helps to reduces power consumption and extends the battery usage time.
(5) Disturbance prevention: when using the device at night, turning off the screen can reduce the visual disturbance caused by bright light.
(6) Please note that the screen-off function only turns off the display

screen and does not impact other functions and processes of the device. If the device has set the automatic power-off feature, the following applies: (7) If the device turns off the display screen while there is no activity or video recording, and the elapsed time reaches the set Auto power-off time, the device will automatically shut down. (8) If the device is actively recording a video and the display screen is turned off during the recording process, the video recording will continue, and the device will not automatically shut down. 4. WiFi Connection and APP Control To enhance your experience, this DOOCK Night Vision Goggles Model NVG-A01 is equipped with WiFi functionality. This allows seamless file transfer and remote control of the device through your smartphone using the Viidure app, please follow the steps below: Go to the Menu and Set the WiFi to “On” status, then the screen will display the WiFi connection and APP information

Download and install the Viidure APP:
Scan the “Viidure” QR code to download the APP directly. Or search for “Viidure” in your APP Store or Google Play Store.

Note:

Please install the app first. Once connected to the

Viidure

night vision goggles’ WiFi, your phone will

disconnect from the network, making it unable to download the app.

Connect your phone to the WiFi: After installation is complete, tap the icon to open the Viidure app. Select “Connect” on the main interface of the APP, jump to WiFi connection list, then connect.

After the device connected the APP Viidure: 1) The night vision device’s screen will mirror on the app, and the device’s “Menu”, “OK” and “Camera” buttons will be disabled. 2) You can view real-time images, record videos, take photos, and manage media, transfer files directly to your smartphone. 3) You can control the device remotely, the effective Wi-Fi connection distance is typically around 10-20 meters. 4) Go to the Camera Setting, you can adjust exposure compensation while using the device to achieve better photo in various lighting conditions.

5. GPS Location Tagging and Route Tracking The DOOCK Night Vision Goggles also feature GPS functionality for location tagging and route tracking. When attempting GPS positioning, please ensure you are outdoors in an
open, unobstructed area. The GPS signal icon will turn green when positioning is successful. GPS positioning speed is influenced by antenna signal reception quality, number of satellites, atmospheric conditions, device performance, and location history data. GPS positioning information will not be displayed on this night vision device, you need to view it through the mobile app or computer. (1) Track GPS Data on Smartphone: You can also view real-time GPS location information, your speed on the Viidure APP.

(2) Viewing GPS Data on Computer Windows Users: Download the dedicated player from this link http://www.sunningsoft.com/en/pcgps.html. Install and open the GXPlayer to view your routes, including time, location, and speed data. Mac Users: Search for “GXPlayer” in the App Store to download and install the player. This player will allow you to view all the GPS information associated with your recordings.

Tips for Clear Images/ Videos
(1) If you wear glasses, please wear glasses when using the equipment. (2) If used during the day, make sure that the infrared light is turned off (if
the infrared light is turned on, the screen is shown in black and white, and if the infrared light is turned off, the screen is displayed in color) (3) When used at night or in case of insufficient light, make sure that the IR is turned on and press the and button ( the screen is black and white when the IR light is turned on) to adjust the most appropriate brightness according to the actual situation. (4) Adjust the focus wheel to focus and ensure that the subject is clear. (5) Long press the or button to zoom in or zoom out the image, the zoom value will be displayed on the LCD screen. (6) It is recommended to hold the device steadily when taking photos to ensure capturing clear and sharp images. (7) If conditions permit, you can use a tripod to help you capture more stable and perfect shots while taking photos or recording videos. (8) Avoid direct contact with the camera lens using your hands. Touching the camera lens with your hands can lead to the lens surface becoming dirty, scratched, or damaged, which may impact image quality, resulting in blurry images or the appearance of spots.

Question & Answer
Question: What should I do if the device cannot boot up? Answer: Please charge the device first, connect the USB to DC5V or a power bank, and then try to turn it on.
Question: What should I do if the screen display is abnormal? Answer: You can shut down the device first and then restart it.
Question: What should I do if the buttons are unresponsive, and there is no response when pressing any button? Answer: You can use a tool similar to a SIM card ejector pin and perform a forced shutdown by pressing the RESET button (located below the charging port on the left side). After the device is powered off, try to turn it on again.
Question: What should I do if I cannot connect the device to the computer via a USB cable? Answer: Please check if the USB cable is in good condition, if it is properly inserted into the interface, and if the computer’s USB port is working properly.
Question: What should I do if the camera cannot read the memory card? Answer: Please check if the memory card is correctly inserted into the camera and if the quality of the memory card is good. The device supports a maximum of 128GB memory card (it is recommended to format the memory card before using it).
Question: Can the DOOCK night vision goggles work through windows? Answer: Yes, mostly, the infrared light of the night vision can penetrate ordinary glass to observe target objects. However, if the glass has reflective properties or belongs to a special type of glass, it may affect the observation of infrared light.

Warnings & Maintenance
Warnings 1) Never look directly at the sun with your night vision device, as it may
cause serious damage to your eyes. 2) Please avoid shining the infrared light directly into people’s eyes.
Physical protection Handle the device carefully to avoid impacts and severe vibrations. Use a protective case or box when carrying or moving the device to prevent physical damage.
Waterproof measures Do not use the night vision goggles in water as it will damage the device and the damage will not be covered by the warranty.
Cleaning the machine Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior. Avoid cleaning fluids. Gently wipe the eyepiece and lens with a cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Protect the machine from dust and moisture. Store in a bag or box.
Precautions for charging Charge the device promptly when the battery is low. Maintain the battery level above 20% for regular use to extend its lifespan.Keep the charging equipment dry and avoid charging in damp environments to prevent short-circuiting.
About the adapter:
The adapter is not included, we recommend using a mobile phone charging adapter or another DC 5V 2A charging adapter to avoid damaging the battery as much as possible.
