ATTENTION

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it properly

1. When using for the first time, clean the inside and outside of the portable refrigerator with a damp cloth.
2. Please clean the inside of the refrigerator regularly to prevent odorous bacteria to ensure food safety.

3. If not used for a long time, please disconnect the power and keep the inside of the portable refrigera­tor dry .

Connect the power supply

1. The portable refrigerator is dual-use for car and home. It supports 12V / 24V DC and 11 0V AC. Tips: The refrigerator can also run with energy storage power supply.
2. For car. Find the DC power cord in the kit. Connect the DC plug to the power outlet of the portable refrigerator with another end plugged into cigarette lighter.
3. For home: Find the AC adapter (2 sections) in the kit. Connect one plug to the power outlet of the portable refrigerator with another end plugged into the household wall outlet.
4 Press the” “button for 3 to 5 seconds, then the portable refrigerator will be turned on.

Safety Attention

1. Always ensure that the power supply voltage connected to the portable refrigerator is correct (the portable refrigerator verification voltage parameter is on the parameter label).
2. Do not pour liquid especially corrosive liquid directly into the portable refrigerator.
3. To avoid danger, it is forbidden to transform the refrigerator privately.
4. The refrigerator could not be exposed to rain.

APPLICATIONS

If you equipped the portable refrigerator w ith a portable power station, it could maintain the proper temperature you set under any circum-stances without any worries.

When placing ice cream, please adjust the temperature to the lowest and always keep the refrigerator on.

Prevent health problems caused by drinking bottled water that is exposed to excessive heat.

Portable refrigerator let chilled ingredients (frozen food, expensive seafood, etc.) accompany your journey.

Cosmetics are easy to deteriorate under the high temperature in the car. A portable refrigerator will be a better choice for you to store the cosmetics.

Tea can be kept fresh in the portable refrigerator  so that you can drink fresh and delicious tea at any time during the driving tour.

The ideal storage temperature of red wine is 50° F to 64° F. The precise temperature control of the portable refrigerator can ensure the storage temperature of red wine.

In summer, the temperature inside the car is very high, causing the fruits in the car to be unable to keep fresh for more than 2 hours. Even if the air conditioner is open, the storage time is short. The refrigerator can effectively keep fruits fresh.

The coating of sunglasses will fall off under the high temperature in summer, and the portable refrigerator is the ideal place to put it.

PORTABLE REFRIGERATOR OPERATION

Car Battery Protection Function
The built-in electronic control module can automatically monitor the car battery voltage. When the car battery power drops to a certain level, the portable refrigerator will automatically cut off the power connection to ensure that the car battery will not run out.

Note: When the portable refrigerator is turned on, the ON / OFF refers to the ON / OFF of the compressor.

PORTABLE REFRIGERATOR OPERATION

Operation Method

1. Long press the ” ” button for 3 seconds, the refrigerator is turned on/standby.
2. Press the • + “/” – ” button to adjust the temperature.
3. Long press the” + “/” – “button to increase or decrease the temperature at a rate of 4°C per second. The number will not flash during the process of adjustment.
4. After setting the temperature, if there is no further operation on the panel within 3 seconds, the temperature display will stop flashing and save the currently set temperature.
5. The temperature display shows the actual temperature inside the box.
6. Under the standby mode, buttons will light up while the digital display will not.
7. Under the working status, press ” button to switch MAX/ ECO mode.
8. Temperature can be adjusted between -7.6°F to 50°F (-22·c to+ 1 o·c).
9. Temperature unit conversion: Press and ” + “for 3 seconds at the same time to switch Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (0 F).
10. Car battery protection mode: During the working state, press the button for 3 seconds to enter the battery protection setting. Then press the button to switch H / M / L. After selecting a level, the display panel will flash for 5 seconds, and then it will automatically save and exit the setting.

*Generally speaking, when connecting to the car power, we recommend using the H level. When connecting to the portable power station, it is recommend to select M / L level.

The portable refrigerator has a power-off memory function. The fridge state (On/ Off, ECO/ MAX mode, or H / M / L level) will be restored automatically before power-off, so there is no need to reset the settings the next time you turn on the portable refrigerator.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Advice: If there is an abnormal situation that cannot be solved through the guidance, please contact F40C4TMP customer service team for assistance .

The Portable Refrigerator Does Not Work

1. Check whether the power is connected correctly or not (the plug is loose, positive and negative poles are reversed, etc.).
2. Check whether the refrigerator is turned on.
3. Check whether the cooling ventilation is normal.
4. Check whether the fuse is blown .

Low Cooling Efficiency

1. Check whether the fridge door is closed properly.
2. Check whether the door seal is damaged or deformed, resulting in unsealed.
3. Check whether the heat dissipation and ventilation are working normally.
4. Check whether the temperature setting is proper

Abnormal Noise

1. Check whether the refrigerator is placed stably.
2. Check whether the refrigerator hit the wall or other items.
3. Check whether the internal part in the compressor compartment is loose or fell off .

Condensation Of The Refrigerator Surface

When the ambient air humidity is > 75%, a slight frost will occur on the surface of the cabinet, which is a normal phenomenon.

Error Code Definition

Error Code Error Type Solutions
El The input voltage is too low CD Condition: Plug the 12v DC cord into the

car cigar lighter before the car engine starts.
Solution: Plug the DC cord into the car cigar lighter after the car engine starts.
@Condition: The input voltage of the adapter is too low.
Solution: Adjust the battery protection mode to Middle/Low level. If the fridge still does not work normally, please use a new adapter.
E2| Fan problem| Solution: Please replace with a new fan.
E3| Compressor starts frequently or input voltage failure| CD Condition: E3 Appears when using the DC cord.
Solution: Please use the AC adapter to test it. If the refrigerator can be used normally without the E3 code, you need to check your external power supply.
0  Condition: E3 appears when using the AC adapter.
Solution: Please power off the refrigerator for 5 minutes. After that, turn
on the refrigerator. If E3 still appears, please replace the compressor controller.
E4| Compressor turbine speeds too slow| Solution: Please power off the refrigerator for 1 hour, and then restart the refrigerator to see if E4 still appears. If it is, please replace the compressor controller.
E5| Controller chip overheated| Solution: Power off the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Then  turn on the refrigerator to check whether the fan rotates. If the fan does not rotate, please replace the fan.
Note: Reserve 15cm for the cooling holes for ventilation.
E6| NTC open circuit or short circuit| Solution: Disassemble the control panel to check whether the NTC cord is loose.
Note: The NTC cord is inside the control panel.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

1. Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the portable refrigerator.
2.Dissolve sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in warm water to clean the refrigerator. Never use abrasive products, detergents or soaps to clean the refrigerator.
3. After cleaning, wipe the inside of the refrigerator with a clean damp cloth and carefully dry it.
4. If the inside of the device is wet, do not store the device. Always make sure the inside of the refrigerator is dry before you store it.
5. Never clean the equipment in running water or dishwater.
6. Clean all vents of the compressor compartment with compressed air or a vacuum cleaner.

Defrosting

1. The inside of the refrigerator may ice up which will reduce the capacity and cooling efficiency. Defrosting the refrigerator regularly will keep the portable refrigerator in top operating condition.
2.Take out all items.
3. Disconnect the power supply of the portable refrigerator.
4. Open the lid and let the refrigerator temperature return to ambient temperature.
5. When the ice melts, soak up the water with a clean towel.
6. Once all the ice has melted, clean the interior.

CAUTION: DO NOT use hard, sharp or pointed objects to remove the frost or use them to help you remove the frozen items. This may cause irreparable damage to the cooling system.
