General safety
This microwave is intended for heating food and beverages only.
Drying of footwear or clothing and heating of warming pads, slippers, sponges, damp cloths and similar may lead to risk of injury, ignition or fire.
Only a suitably qualified person must install this appliance or replace the mains cable.
WARNING! Accessible parts may become hot during use.
Always use oven gloves to remove or put in accessories or oven-ware.
Do not heat liquids and other foods in sealed containers. They are liable to explode.

Microwave Oven
Microwave heating beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling. Care must be taken when handling the liquids’ container.
Contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars must be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption, in order to avoid burns.
Eggs in their shell and whole hardboiled eggs should not be heated in the microwave since they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
When heating food in plastic or paper containers, monitor the appliance due to the possibility of ignition.
If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance. Keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
Before carrying out any maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
If the mains power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, Authorised Service Centre or similarly qualified persons to avoid electrical hazard.

Do not use the appliance when it is empty. Metal parts inside the cooking compartment can create arcing and damage the oven.
Metallic containers for food and beverages must not be used for microwave cooking.(This requirement is not applicable if the manufacturer specifies size and shape of metallic containers suitable for microwave cooking).
WARNING: If the door or door seals are damaged, the appliance must not be operated until it has been repaired by a qualified person.
Only a qualified person can carry out any service or repair operation that involves the removal of a cover that gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.
Do not attempt to use the appliance with the door open. This can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. DO NOT tamper or break the safety interlocks.
If the appliance is not maintained in a good state of cleanliness, its surfaces could degrade and affect the lifespan of the product and may lead to malfunction.
Do not place any object between the oven front face and door or allow soiling or cleaning residue to accumulate on these closing, sealing surfaces.

Safety with children
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged 3 years and under must be kept away at all times from the appliance when it is in operation.
· Children must not be allowed to
clean or maintain the microwave unsupervised.
· The appliance is not to be used
by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
· Please supervise children in the
vicinity of the microwave and do not let them play with it.
· All children should be supervised
when the oven is used in combination mode due to the high temperatures generated.
· Please keep all packaging away
from children and dispose of it appropriately.

· Keep appliance and power cord away
from children below 8 years old.
Use the child lock when required.
Keep children and pets away from the appliance when it operates or when it cools down. Accessible parts may be hot.
Electrical safety
Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death.
WARNING: Do not disassemble this appliance. Improper use of the grounding can result in electric shock.
Grounding
· The appliance must be grounded. In
the event of an electrical short circuit grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
· Only connect the microwave to a
grounded outlet/line with the voltage and protection as specified in the “Technical Specifications”.

· The power cord has a grounding
wire with a grounding plug.

Safety in use
Use oven gloves when placing or removing cookware.
Do not operate the appliance when it is empty.

If the microwave is mounted at height, take care removing hot cookware, especially with liquids. Open the door carefully. Use of ingredients containing alcohol can come into contact with hot surfaces or mix with air and ignite.

· Do not put pressure on the appliance
door when it is open.
· Do not let sparks / open flames come
in contact with the microwave when you open the door.

Precautions to avoid possible exposure to excessive microwave energy
· It is hazardous for anyone other
than a qualified or competent person to carry out any service or repair that involves removal of a cover which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.
Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can result in harmful exposure to excessive microwave radiation.
Do not place any object between the oven front face and door or allow soiling or cleaning residue to accumulate on these closing and sealing surfaces.
Do not break or tamper with the safety interlocks.

2. Microwave cooking, a general guide
Remove aluminium foil packaging from metal containers etc. before you prepare the food for heating.
· Put the food on a plate on the
turntable unless specified differently.
· After cooking let food stand for some
time.
· If possible, always stir the food before
serving.
· Where possible, cook food covered
with material suitable for microwave use. Only cook food without a cover if you want to keep a crust.
· Do not overcook dishes by setting the
power and time too high. The food can dry out, burn or catch fire.
· Do not use the appliance to cook eggs
in their shells, as they can explode. even when cooking has ended.

· Pierce skin or peel potatoes,
tomatoes, sausages and similar types of food with a fork, several times before cooking to prevent food bursting open.
· For chilled/frozen food, set a longer
cooking time at a lower power.
Do not heat foodstuffs in sealed containers, they are could explode!
· Dishes containing sauce must be
stirred from time to time.
· Turn larger pieces of food over after
half the cooking time.
· If possible, cut vegetables into similar
sized pieces.
· Use flat, wide dishes.
Do not use cookware made of porcelain, ceramic or earthenware with unglazed bottoms, or small holes (for example on handles). Moisture can penetrate the holes and cause the cookware to become very hot. The cookware may crack.
i Defrosting meat, poultry & fish:
· Put the frozen,unwrapped food on a
small upturned plate with a container below it or on a defrosting rack or plastic sieve so that the defrosting liquid can run off.

· Turn the food after half the defrosting
time. If possible divide, then remove pieces that have started to defrost.
i Defrosting butter & portions of
gateau:
· Do not fully defrost in the appliance,
but let them defrost completely at room temperature. This gives a more even result. Remove all metal or aluminium packaging or parts before defrosting.
i Defrosting fruit & vegetables.
· If fruit and vegetables are not to
be cooked completely, do not defrost them fully in the microwave but let them defrost completely at room temperature.
· To cook fruit and vegetables without
defrosting them first, you can use a high microwave power.
i Ready meals:
Ready meals in metal packaging or plastic trays with metal covers can only be defrosted or heated in the microwave if they are expressly designated as suitable for use in the microwave.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions printed on the packaging (e.g. remove cover / pierce the plastic film).

Remarks

Browning dish Follow manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of a browning dish must be at least 3/16 inch (5mm) above the turntable. Incorrect usage may cause the turntable to break.
Dinnerware Use microwave-safe cookware only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Glass jars Always remove the lid. Use only to heat food until just warm. Most glass jars are not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware Use heat-resistant oven glassware only. Make sure there is no metallic trim. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven cooking Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie. bags Make slits to allow steam to escape.
Paper plates/cups Use these for short­term cooking/warming only. Do not leave oven unattended while cooking.
Paper towels Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use with supervision for short-term cooking only.
Parchment paper Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.

Plastic

Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. These should be labelled “Microwave Safe”. Some plastic containers soften as the food inside gets hotter. “Boiling bags” and tightly closed plastic bags should be slit, pierced or vented as directed by the product instructions.

Plastic wrap Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain moisture. Do not allow the plastic wrap to touch food.

Thermometers Use microwave-safe thermometers only.

Wax paper Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.

Speed cooking (100 % Power)
· The Speed Cooking function allows rapid cooking at 100% power. Cooking time can be increased easily in multiples of 30 seconds.
· Maximum cooking time using this function is 95 minutes. · Speed cooking cannot be set during the “Defrost by Weight”,
or “Auto Menu” functions.

Example

Cooking begins immediately using 100% power on the first touch. If cooking time has already elapsed after the first touch, additional touches will add 30 seconds to the elapsed time.

7. Trouble Shooting

During normal operation the following observations are normal

8. Care & Maintenance
The microwave must be unplugged from the power supply socket before cleaning.

Door contact surfaces and neighbouring parts
Clean the door frame, contact surfaces and neighbouring parts carefully with a damp cloth.

If the appliance is not maintained in a good state of cleanliness, its surfaces could be damaged. This may affect the lifespan of the product and could lead to malfunction.

Leave the door open after cooking to allow any condensation to evaporate. Allow the oven to cool before cleaning.
Cleaning the cooking compartment

Take care not to scratch any glass and brushed steel bezel.

Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass door since they can scratch the surface, which may result in the glass shattering.

Clean the cooking compartment after use with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use steel wool pads.
Clean accessories with soapy water
For easy cleaning of the cooking compartment. Place half a lemon in 300ml (1/2 pint) of water and heat for 10 minutes at 100% microwave power. Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth:

Utensil Test

1. Fill a microwave safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the utensil in question.

Installation
Adapters, multi-way strips and extension leads must not be used. Overloading can result in a risk of fire.

and must only be connected to a properly installed, earthed socket in accordance with the appropriate regulations.

Position and install

Installation

Take care not to scratch the glass, brushed steel control panel and door when installing. Remove all
accessories from the oven cavity.

3. Open the oven door. Use the supplied fixing screws to fix the appliance to the front of the cabinet.

1. Insert the microwave until the frame abuts the front of the cabinet.
