Product Usage Instructions

Accessing and Understanding Trackers:

To access and understand trackers in Jira For Managers, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the HC Project by clicking on Projects > Holiday Change Control UK.
  2. View all open issues to see current open tickets in the Jira Project.
  3. To access a ticket or incident, tick the relevant HCU number or refer to the incident reference on the page. Reorder columns by clicking on the desired column like SLA or created date.

Amending Filters
To amend filters in Jira For Managers, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the three dots on the right-hand corner and select edit queue to reorder columns.
  2. Drag the queue columns to your preferred layout and click save once you are satisfied.

Accessing Filters for Reporting
To access filters for reporting, select your chosen dashboard similar to historic trackers.

Reading Filters/Trackers
In this view, you can click on column titles to change order, view incident details by clicking HCU numbers, and customize the view by editing columns.

Amending and Creating New Filters
To amend or create new filters, follow these steps:

  1. Open your tracker and click on save as to name your new tracker (e.g., S26).
  2. Select preferred columns, drag them to desired locations, edit filters for different seasons, and click save once satisfied.

Reading a Ticket Incident
When changing an area on the form, click the tick to save your work.

Setting a Ticket/Incident Status
Follow these status changes

  • Open ➡ To Start (picked up by TM)
  • To Start ➡ Handover Done (CCE handover to HCE)
  • Handover Done ➡ In Progress (picked up by exec)
  • In Progress ➡ Completed (incident completed).

A: You can customize the view by clicking on columns and editing what is displayed. Remember to click save once you have made changes.
