Glossary of Terms
QUICKSTART e-360 allows you two mounting configurations, depending on your preferences and the space available in your installation:
Compact Installation Sketch
The cell and the electronic control unit are assembled.
- Optional BY-PASS
Independent cell installation sketch

The cell and the electronic control unit are assembled separately.

Hang the control unit to the wall with the rear brackets, and use the approved cable extender (An additional option to the standard equipment).

Protocol of Installation
- Installation has to be done with the unit switched off and disconnected from the energy network.
Control Unit installation:
- (a) Be sure that heat-dissipating elements are free to permit air circulation.
- (b) Avoid direct sunlight.
- (c) Use the unit connected to the ground kit.
CELL INSTALLATION:
- (a) The orientation of the cell must always be vertical. The tab marked in the following image is facing the opposite side of the wall.
- (b) On the inside of the cell, there are two deflectors IN and OUT. Choose the correct position depending on your hydraulic installation.
- (c) Put the cell in place, making sure that the junction joints are correctly positioned.
- Note: The arrow in the previous image indicates the correct water flow direction.
- (d) Place and tighten the locking clips between the connectors and the cell inlet/outlet.
- (e) Check that the cell is properly installed inside the housing.
Mounting A (cell and control unit mounted together):
- a) Insert the control unit into the front housing of the cell.
- b) Connect the 3 cables.
- c) Attach the top cover and firmly tighten the 3 threaded knobs.
Mounting B (control unit hanging on the wall):
- a) Install the control unit on the wall.
- b) Connect the extension cable (an additional option, not included in the standard product) between the cell cables and the control unit cables.
- c) Put on the top cover of the cell and firmly tighten the 3 threaded knobs.
Note: The orientation of the cell must always be vertical.
Note: Before electrical installation, check for water loss leaking.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
Disconnect the power supply from the control panel before handling it.
- (a) It is very important to ensure that the ground connection is in good condition.
- (b) Check that you have the appropriate protection elements: Magnetothermic, differential switch, and motor protection for the filtration pump.
- (c) Connect the equipment power cable to the panel, respecting the phase, neutral, and ground connections.
Note: The electrical connection must be made in such a way that the QUICKSALT chlorinator is started only when the filtration pump is in operation.
Protocol – Unit start-up
- Unit installed. Switch off the unit:
- Basic water treatment: Modify the values of the main parameters of water. The appropriated values are indicated in the following table.
- Salt loading. Introduce the salt directly into the swimming pool and maintain the filtering running for 24 hours.
- Chlorine buffer production: Switch on the unit for 24 hours.
- Introduction of standard filtering time: Define the usual filtering time. BSV recommends 8 hours of filtering time.
- Disinfection customizing: It is possible to modify the production level depending on the user preferences. BSV recommends maintaining 0,5 to 2,5 ppm of FCL in the water.
