Points to Note:
- Before connecting this camera to the Wi-Fi please ensure the WiFi signal strength is to be over 85%. If the camera is far away from the router, it won’t be connected successfully for the first time.
- If your router is connected to too many devices, the camera will fail to connect to Wi-Fi because of the IP address conflict.
- This security camera only supports the Canny Cam app and is not compatible with any other APP.

Note:
To enhance the user experience, our “Canny Cam” app will be periodically
updated. Due to these updates, the app’s UI and certain functionalities may
change. Please refer to the actual app for accurate information. For any
inquiries, please contact customer service at:

Download ‘Canny Cam’ APP
Please note that the APP requires IOS 8.0 or later, and Android 5.0 or later.
- Method 1: Download ‘Canny Cam’ APP from the APP Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android);
- Method 2: Scan the ‘Canny Cam’ APP QR code to download it.
Tips:
Please grant the following 2 permissions while using this APP for the first
time.
- Allow the ‘Canny Cam’ APP to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN or it will fail to add an IP camera.
- Allow the ‘Canny Cam’ APP to receive a pushed message or the phone will not receive an alarm push when motion detection or audible alarm is triggered.
Register Account
New users need to register by email. The concrete steps are as follows:
- Click “Sign Up”;
- Follow the steps to complete the registration of the account;
- Log in.
Preparations Before Connection
- Knowing Before Connecting:
- Please insert the Micro SD card before powering on, otherwise, the SD card cannot be recognized. (Micro SD card is not included; the camera supports up to 128GB Micro SD card).
- Put the camera and smartphone 1-3 ft (30-100cm) away from the router to set Wi-Fi.
- Power on Camera
- Plug in the camera’s power cable, please use a 5.0V==1.0A power adapter(included) to power the camera. Then press and hold on the reset button for 10s to reset the camera.
- After you hear the beep of Restore the factory …… wait for a moment.”, it proves that the camera is being reset, please wait for 30 s; when you will hear the beep of “Ding” and “Waiting for … information.”, it means that the camera has been reset and powered on.
How to Add a Camera to APP
Please open your “Canny Cam” APP and connect the camera to your APP as follows.

- Tap “+”to Add a Device
- Select “Indoor Cameras”
- Tap “Powered on” and “Next”
- Scan Camera’s QR Code
- Input Wi-Fi Password
- Press the RESET button for 1 seconds
- Scan QR Code
- Wait for Connection
- Device Added

Wi-Fi Signal Detection
It will automatically detect the strength of the Wi-Fi signal at that location. If it shows a weak Wi-Fi signal, we recommend changing the installation location or adding a Wi-Fi booster between the camera and the router. -
Camera Naming
You can change the camera name so that you can know exactly which camera it is when managing multiple cameras. -
Security Setting
You need to set a password for this device so that even if someone illegally steals your SD card information, they can’t watch any videos/images.

Why the phone can’t receive alarm notifications?
- Please check if you accept the Canny Cam send notifications to your phone. (Your Smartphone Setting)
- Please check if you turn on the “Notification” on Canny Cam (Camera “Setting” – “Alarm Management” – “Motion Detection”/”Sound Detection” – “Enable Alarm”)
- Please check if you turn on the “Sound” and “Vibration” on Canny Cam (“Account”-“Setting”- “Notification Center”).

Why does the Wi-Fi connection fail during the initial setup process?
- Please ensure you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password.
- Put your camera close to your router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- If the reset button is pressed for 10 seconds, the camera will be restored to factory settings, you need to configure the connection again.
- If the camera still can’t connect to the Wi-Fi, please contact us at support@usogood.co.

What to do if Wi-Fi is frequently disconnected?
- Check whether the Wi-Fi network is good and restart the router, make sure the camera’s Wi-Fi signal is above 85%;
- If the location is too far away from the router, causing the failure of connecting a good Wi-Fi signal, it is recommended to move the router to a closer location or add a Wi-Fi extender to enhance the home Wi-Fi performance.
- Remove the camera from your account, and reset the camera to restore to factory settings, then re-add it.
- Check that the device firmware and applications are up to date.
- If the camera still can’t connect to the Wi-Fi stably, please contact us through support@usogood.co.

Why history videos cannot be played?
When you use the SD card storage, please insert the SD card before turning on the camera.- Please note that it only supports a 128GB SD card maximally.
- Check the status of the SD card in “Settings” and make sure the SD card is successfully recognized.
- The read and write speed requirements is ClasslO level and the file format is Fat32 or exFat;
- Re-insert the SD card.
- Format the SD card in the app.
- Try another new SD card.
- If it still can not recognize the SD card, please contact us through support@usogood.co.
