USING THE KETTLE

lid button.
Fill the kettle with water to the desired level. AIways fill the kettle
between the MIN (0.5L) line and MAX (1.8L) line.
- Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
- Do not fill the water over the MAX line, as water may spill out of the spout while boiling.
Close the lid until it snaps securely into place. Place the kettle onto the
power base. Make sure the kettle makes complete contact with the power base.
NOTE: Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the power
cord to the outlet.
Connect the power cord to a power outlet. Turn the power switch to the ON
position to begin the boiling process. The power indicator light will
illuminate.
The kettle will switch off automatically and the light will turn off once the
water has boiled. You can stop the heating process by flipping the power
switch off while the kettle is operating.
NOTE: Ensure that the power switch is clear of obstructions. The kettle
will not turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is left open.
Lift the kettle from the power base using the handle and pour the water.
NOTE: Take care not to touch the kettle body as it will be hot. Operate
carefulIy when pouring water from your kettle, as boiling water may result in
scalding. Do not open the lid while there is hot water inside.
The kettle will not re-boil until the power switch is flipped up again.
The kettle may be stored on the power base while not in use.
NOTE: When not in use. unplug the power base from the electrical outlet.
Boil-Dry Protection
If you accidentally operate the kettle without water, the boil-dry protection
will automatically shut it off. If this happens, let the kettle cool
completely before filling it with cold water and boiling it again.
CARE & CLEANING
Before cleaning the kettle, make sure it is disconnected from the power supply
and has cooled down completely. To prevent the risk of electric shock, avoid
cleaning the kettle and its base with water, and refrain from immersing it in
water. Do not clean it under running water. Avoid using abrasives, harsh
cleaning solutions, or hard brushes.
To prevent scale or lime deposit buildup, empty the kettle after each use.
Descaling
Depending on your area’s water quality, lime deposits may accumulate on the
heating element. It’s recommended to remove such deposits regularly. A mixture
of 0.5L of water and 40 ml of vinegar is suitable for descaling. Pour the
mixture in, switch the kettle on, and let the solution reach its boiling
point. Leave the descaler in the kettle for a short period.
After descaling, clean the kettle thoroughly with clean water. Ensure
sufficient ventilation during descaling, and avoid inhaling any vinegar
vapours. Do not pour descaler down enamel-coated sinks.
Cleaning the External Housing
Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Cleaning the Filter
Clean the filter with a soft, damp brush when necessary.
Storage
When not in use or in storage, you may wind the power cord around the cord
storage under the kettle’s base.
