Overview
AHS pressure infusion bag provide a trusted means of delivering intravenous, intra-arterial fluid therapy, and pressure monitoring diagnostics. Each infusion bag is equipped with a hook for easy attachment to an IV pole, a 3-way stopcock for pressure control, an oval inflation bladder, and a color- coded gauge to ensure accurate monitoring of patient pressure.
Instructions For Use
- Insert intravenous bag between mesh/panel and AHS pressure infusion bag.
- Hang intravenous bag on mounted hook or slide hanger loop through top of IV bag if applicable.
- Inflate: Close valve on inflation bulb. Pump inflation bulb until gauge indicates the proper pressure as indicated by your pressure monitoring or infusion therapy.
- Rotate stopcock to “Maintain Pressure” position.
- Deflate: Open valve on inflation bulb. Caution: For best transfer of pressure to the IV
Statements
Caution: To ensure best results make sure the bag is placed within the
pressure infuser panel.
Warning: Pressure of the fluid bag will decrease as fluid is evacuated
from it, monitor the gauge pressure continually and inflate to ensure
consistent pressure.
