Product Overview

The X3 mixer is a multi-channel beginner audio mixer, provides an onboard, easy-to-use, all-in-one audio solution for online live streaming, podcast, gaming… It is an entertainment sound mixer, so its audio quality is not as professional as professionnal audio mixer, audio interface, or dj mixer.
It features a compact structure, built-in LED screen, 2 large rotary adjustment knobs with RGB lighting effect, 8 conventional rotary adjustment knobs, and 24 keys. Easy to adjust, customize, and control your audio, such as 3-band EQ, reverbs, and more. It streamline the control over your audio mixing, no fiddly software, no complex and cumbersome process, no need long time learning curve, and hard-ware-controlled adjustment to all of audio and effects effortless.
The X3 features 9 audio jacks, provides enough channels to accommodate your most home devices. Built-in a 1/4′′, two 1/8′′, etc, microphone jacks, allows you use your different type microphone, and a 3.5mm TRRS jack for headphone microphone input and real-time monitoring. Moreover, Built-in one USB-C jack and two 3.5mm TRRS jacks to output your computers, tablets, smartphones and more, it is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, etc system, no need worring about the compatibility.

X3 Rear Panel

  1. Musical instrument:
    Connect 6.35mm dynamic microphone and musical instrument devices. the input volume is controlled by ” Mic total Vol” knob

  2.  Micophone:
    Two 3.5mm TRS mic port. Connect a (XLR to 3.5mm) condenser microphone that does not require external power supply. the input volume is controlled by ” Mic total Vol” knob

  3. Headset:
    3.5mm TRRS port. Connect a headphone with microphone function. used for vocals input via headset, and also can real-time monitor all sound sources simultaneously via this port. The monitoring volume is controlled by ” Monitor” knob; the input volume is controlled by ” Mic total Vol” knob.

  4. Earphone:
    3.5mm monitoring port; used for monitoring all sound resources of the mixer in real time. Supports mobile phone earphones (TRRS plug), studio headphones (TRS plug); the monitoring volume is controlled by ” Monitor” knob.

  5. Accompaniment:
    3.5mm music resources input port; Connect an external audio source or devices to the mixer via a 3.5mm audio cable, to playback background music during streaming or recording. Can be connected to the smartphone headphone jack, PC earphone jack. the input volume controlled by ” Accompaniment ” knob.

  6. Live Streaming ports:
    Two 3.5mm TRRS analog ports; By the port, the mixed audio can be output to the smartphone, tablet or other devices through a 3.5mm TRRS cable. Can live stream to multiple devices at the same time. Mainly use to live streaming or recording on
    smartphone or tablet.
    The output volume is controlled by ” Recording” knob.
    When you chat with followers, fans and other streamers, the voice of other party can be input through this port. However, the volume of other party depends on the output volume of the other party, our mixer cannot control the volume. And the input audio
    from this two ports will not be recorded

  7. TYPE-C OTG:
    USB-C port; Data interface, can be used for audio data communications with computer and mobile devices, for digital audio signal input/output.
    The output volume is controlled by ” Recording” knob; the input volume is controlled by ” Accompaniment ” knob.

  8. TYPE-C Charge:
    USB-C port; charge the mixer via this port.
    Tips: When the mixer is low power or is about to run out of power, it will ake a lot of noise; the power is continuing to decrease, noise will be more and more loud. Please charge it as soon as possible.

NOTE: Not supporting the USB microphone connecting the mixer via USB-C port
X3 Top Panel

  1. POWER/LOOPBACK button:
    Press and hold to power on/off; short press to turn on/off LOOPBACK function (LOOPBACK function is used for input audio from PC via USB-C port, The Loopback feature is enabled: the audio sent to the mixer via USB will be sent back to the USB connected device, the audio resources inside PC (music, video, game, web pages, ect audio) can be heard by audience or can be recorded; The Loopback feature is disabled: the audio sent to the mixer can be heard via the monitoring headphones, but will not be heard by audience or not be recorded, only microphone audio can be heard by audience or can be recorded). Disablea loopback function, can avoid unnecessary echoes Battery indicator light: When the device is turned on, the green light remains on for a long time; When charging, the red light stays on, and when fully charged, the light goes off

  2. BTbutton :
    Press and hold more than 2s to turn on/off BT function. Bluetooth is enabled by default. BT waiting for pairing, the button light will blink; BT paired successfully, the button light will be always on; Short press to play/pause accompaniment music. Tips: this function is only for Bluetooth music accompaniment

  3. Reverberation Knob:
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the reverb effect in RAP, KTV and Specialty reverb modes. Adjust in reverb mode and fine tune in original sound mode.

  4. Monitor Knob :
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the monitoring output volume(via Eardphone jack and Headset jack).

  5. Recording Knob:
    Adjust output volume of two Live Streaming ports and TYPE-C OTG port

  6. Voice Changer Knob :
    Rotate the knob clockwise to control mic input audio voice-changing effect.

  7. Sound effects Knob :
    Turning the knob clockwise to adjust the volume of the fixed sound effects & the customized sound effects.

  8. Accompaniment knob:
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the input volume of accompaniment music from Bluetooth, Accompaniment port, TYPE-C OTG port.

  9. Mic Low Knob :
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the bass effect of microphone vocals.

  10. Mic Mid Knob :
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the midrange effect of microphone vocals.

  11. Mic High Knob :
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the treble effect of microphone vocals.

  12. Mic total Vol Knob :
    Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the input volume of microphone(including Musical instrument port(6.35mm dynamic mic or musical instrument), Microphone(1, 2) port, Headset port ).

  13. Original sound button: Short press to switch to original sound modes.

  14. KTV button:
    Short press to switch to karaok sound modes; Long reverb time effect.

  15. Specialty button:
    Short press to switch to professional singing reverb modes;

  16. RAP button:
    Short press to switch to MC sound modes; The vocals is full and magnetic.

  17. Electronic music button
    12-Step Auto tune; short press cyclically switch 12 step audio tune: C D Db E Eb F G Gb A Ab B Bb.

  18. Lead siner button : short press to cyclically switch: Lead singing/Follow singing/Remove vocal/Close button function.
    Lead singing: For the first 60 seconds, in the monitoring headphones, you can hear the vocals part of the song, the accompaniment of the song, and the sound of the microphone input. After 60 seconds, only the accompaniment of the song and the sound of the microphone input can be heard;
    Follow singing: In the monitoring headphones, there is the vocals part of the song, the accompaniment of the song, and the sound of the microphone input, but there is no vocals part of song in the recording or live broadcast room, only the accompaniment of the song and the sound input from the microphone.
    Follow singing: In the monitoring headphones, the recording or live broadcast room, there is no vocals part of song, only the accompaniment of the song and the sound input from the microphone.
    Tip: if for the music inputted through the USB-C port (from mobile phones and computers) requires turning on Loopback function.
    Note: Some accompaniments and song tracks may differ, and the vocals part of the song may not be completely erased.

  19. Noise reduction button :
    short press to turn on/off noise reduction function to blocks background noise, ensures the clearness of audio recording

  20. Dodge button :
    Turn on/off auto ducking microphone audio input function. When on, the mixer automatically lower the volume of accompaniment music while streamer speaking, recover accompaniment music volume while streamer stop speaking.

  21. 8 fixed interesting instant trigger sound pads for streaming atmosphere.

  22. 12 step auto tune indicator

  23. 4 customizable audio effects button to record songs, music, beats via mic, external audio input, Bluetooth input, and save them to the mixer.
    By default, there is no customized audio effect.
    Customize audio effects: Press and hold this button more than 3 seconds to start recording your audio effects. Each button can record for 10 seconds.
    Delete the customized audio effects: Long press a customize button with existing customized audio for more than 3 seconds, button indicator will flash, indicator a successful deleting customized audio effect.

Connection Guide

Live Streaming, Podcast Or Recording On Mobile Devices

  1. Connect the live streaming mobile phone, accompaniment mobile phone, monitoring headphone and microphone to the mixer as shown in the above.
  2. Open on the live steaming app on smartphone.
  3. Open the accompaniment app on the accompaniment phone and start live streaming.
  4. Power on the mixer and set the voice FX needed, then test the live streaming effect.

TIPS:

  • If your phone does not have a 3.5mm port, please use the USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, or lightning to 3.5mm adapter from your phone manufacturer.
  • The smartphone or tablets also can input the background music via USB-C ports. But it can not support live streaming & input audio simultaneously via USB-C port with your smartphone or table.
  • USB-C to Lightning cable maybe can not be used to recording on iPhone via USB-C ports.
  • If use the USB-C to USB-C cable + USB-C to Lightning adapter, to connect the iPhone for streaming or recording via USB-C port, this will cause delays in audio transmission.
  • You can stream/record to 3 different mobile devices if you utilize both USB-C port and two Live Streaming ports.

Live Streaming, Podcast Or Recording On Computer

  1. Connect the streaming/recording computer, accompaniment device, monitoring headphone and microphone to the sound mixer, as shown in the above figure.
  2. Power on the mixer, put on monitoring headphone, and adjust the voice effects.
  3. Use the USB-C data cable to connect the computer and the mixer. The computer will automatically recognize the device,
  4. Enter the sound setting panel of computer, and set the “JC-X3” as the system default input and output device, or Playback and Recording device in “Playback” and “Recording”, as shown in the down figure.
  5. Open the streaming or recording or accompaniment software on your computer, and confirm “JC-X3” is set as default audio input/output, recording and playback device. then test the live streaming /recording effect, then start live streaming.
  6. When only using one PC for live streaming/recording and want to simultaneously input the PC system audio, you need turn on “Loopback” function.

TIPS:

  • It is not recommended using the Live streaming ports to connect PC for live streaming.
  • Support streaming/recording/podcast on computer and smartphone simultaneously.

Charging

TIPS:
When the mixer is low power or is about to run out of power, it will ake a lot of noise; the power is continuing to decrease, noise will be more and more loud. Please charge it as soon as possible.

Troubleshooting(FQA)

Q: The device does not work, or there is no sound suddenly.

Possible solutions: The battery is dead, please connect to USB cable to charge before use.

Q: There is a lot of noise during the live streaming.

Possible solutions: 1. Check whether the battery is close to a dead state, please charge it in time; 2. Whether the earphone is plugged into the corresponding identification position; 3. Appropriately lower the microphone input volume, and turn on noise reduction function; 4. Check whether the headset is inserted in place, and then plug in the headset again; 5. If the PC is live streaming, and some laptops have interfering the mixer, try to unplug the computer's charging cable;

Q: The microphone has no sound.

Possible solutions: 1. Check the insertion position of the mic cable and make sure that the logo is face to you, or replacing the microphone cable to check if the microphone cable is faulty; 2. Increase gradually the microphone input volume and Monitoring volume ;

Q: The live streaming sound is small or silent.

Possible solutions: 1. Check whether the cable connection is plugged into the live streaming port; 2. Replace audio cable or USB cable to check if whether the cable is faulty; 3. Check whether the Recording knob is turned on to the maximum;

Question: The audience can't hear the music when live streaming.

Q: The sound is not normal.

Possible solutions: 1. This device build in a variety of preseted voice modes, please switch to original sound mode 2. Check whether the headphone is incorrectly inserted in the mark position

Q: Voice Changer effect is not good

Possible solutions: It is recommended to adjust the effect such as Reverb, Mic EQ, voice changer knob etc.

Q: Can not be used with guitar

Q: Auto Ducking function not working

Possible solutions: It doesn't work on a voice call, it works on podcast or live streaming with music.

Warm Tips

  • Please do not charge the audio console during live streaming.
  • Please charge the audio console before using for the first time.
  • If not used for a long period, please charge the audio console every 3 months.
  • Charging is also possible when the power is off. Do not charge for a long time.
  •  Please stop charging when the battery is fully charged to avoid over -charging.
  • BT connection is limited by distance. Please do not place the too far to avoid interference.
  • BT feature is only for accompaniment music playback.
  • The mixer is a entertainment audio interface with mixer and sound card, designed for live streaming, podcast, and other content creations, its audio quality is not as professional as professional mixer.
