SD card specifications

The quality of SD cards has a great impact on the stability of video recording. To record video safely, use SD cards from major brands such as SanDisk, Kingston, Toshiba, and Samsung. Speed certification must be at least Class 10.

Wiring Instructions

  • The wire color is for reference only and is based on the actual label name on the wire.

Camera installation

Left and right cameras:

  • Locate the drilling holes, and find a suitable mounting position under the rearview mirror or crossbar. mark with a pen and drill the appropriate size screw holes.
  • Remove the mounting plate and install it in reverse.
  • Install it under the rearview mirror or crossbar, and tighten the screws of each part.

A. Apple CarPlay

  • As shown in the above figure, click the ‘Apple CarPlay’ button, then select the ‘Apple CarPlay’ option, and first turn on the phone’s WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth will automatically turn on, named T59CARPLAY-XXX.
  • Once Bluetooth is successfully connected, you can connect to Apple CarPlay. (When the machine is powered on, it will attempt to automatically connect to the last connected phone)
  • Click the Details button for detailed connection steps and connection FAQs.
  • Click Assistive Touch to display the shortcut menu: [Back to Home], [RecordVideo Screen], [Volume Adjustment], [Brightness Adjustment].
  • (The Apple CarPlay option is only supported for Apple mobile phones. Please turn off the Bluetooth button and then the WiFi button in your phone’s settings to disconnect.)

B. Android Auto

  • As shown in the picture, click the [Android Auto] button, and then select the [Android Auto] option, first turn on the phone’s WiFi and Bluetooth, as shown in the picture above.
  • Bluetooth will be turned on automatically and the name will be T59CARPLAY-XXX.
  • Once the Bluetooth is successfully connected, you can connect to Android  Auto. (When the machine is powered on, it will try to automatically connect to the last connected phone)

  • Click Assistive Touch to display the shortcut menu: [Back to Home], [RecordVideo Screen], [Volume Adjustment], [Brightness Adjustment].
  • (The Wireless Android Auto option is only supported for Android phones. Please forget Bluetooth in your phone’s settings and turn off the WiFi button to disconnect).

C. Apple Airplay

  • Airplay can transmit video, audio, and pictures from iPhone devices to car equipment. The carrier of transmission is WiFi, which is fundamentally different from Bluetooth wireless.

D. Android Cast

  • It can realize the mirror projection of the mobile phone and the car machine.
  • You need to scan the code with your mobile phone to download, install, and run the “TcLink” application.

  • Note: Only supports Android phones(The mobile phone must support the WiFi direct connection function)

E. WiFi video

  • As shown in the figure above, first scan the QR code to download the video.
  • Click the Details button for detailed connection steps and connection FAQs.
  • After downloading, open the APP, and follow the APP prompts to connect to the WiFi of the machine.
  • WiFi name: RTSP-XXXXXX, password as shown on the machine.

Turn off the mobile phone WiFi key to disconnect

F. Dvr

  • As shown in the figure, the main page will not display the camera image, you need to click the DVR button to view the camera image.
  • After inserting the card, the system automatically enters the recording mode.
  • Clicking on the 1,2,3,4 button switches the machine to the full screen of CH1,2,3,4.
  • Clicking the last button switches the screen distribution format.

Lock the current video:

  • If too many videos are locked, the first locked video will be overwritten.
  • The number of videos that can be locked depends on the capacity of the SD memory card. 16G SD memory cards can lock up to 20 videos, and when the 21st video is locked, the 21st video will overwrite the first, and the 22nd video will overwrite the second.
  • A 32G SD memory card can store 40 locked videos, a 64G SD memory card can store 80 locked videos, a 128G SD memory card can store 160 locked videos, and a 256GSD memory card can store 320 locked videos.
  • The SD card supports a minimum of 16GB and a maximum of 256GB!

G. Audio output

  • As shown in the figure above, click the [Audio Output] button to enter the audio output selection interface.
  1. Speaker: The sound will be played from the speaker of the smart screen.
  2. BT Audio: Select this mode, and then connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to cast the screen, you can use the phone’s Bluetooth to directly connect to the original car’s Bluetooth. After the connection is successful, all sounds from the device will be transmitted to the original car speakers via Bluetooth.
    • After selecting this mode, the volume icon will change to the Bluetooth transmission icon and the volume cannot be adjusted on this device, so the volume must be adjusted on the original car.
  3. FM: After selecting this mode, the FM transmission mode will be turned on by default.
    • For example, if the device’s FM transmit band is tuned to FM 106.0 MHz (any unoccupied channel can be used), the car radio will also tune its receiver band to the same FM 106.0 Hz.
    • After the connection is successful, all the sounds of the device will be transmitted to the original car speakers through FM transmission.
    • After selecting this mode, the volume icon will change to an FM transmission icon and the volume cannot be adjusted on this device, so the volume must be adjusted on the original car.
    • (Not using the original power cord may result in deterioration of the FM transmission signal or loss of function.)

H. Playback

As shown in the above figure, click the [Video Playback] button to enter the video playback interface.

  • You can select [Video], [Photo], or [Locked Video] folder, after selecting, you can click the select button on the right side of the file to delete, lock, or unlock the video.
  • Click to play or pause the video.
  • Click to switch to the next video or photo.
  • Click the Full-Screen button to play the video in full screen.
  • Click to return to the previous screen.

I. Setting

Reverse Line Calibration

Click on [Reverse line calibration] to enter the settings:

  • Park the car in the middle of the parking space.
  • You can choose whether to turn the reverse line feature off or on.
  • Manually drag the left, and adjust the position of the reversing assist line up, left and right, so that the reverse assist line is horizontal to the parking line on the left of the ground.
  • Drag the [ ] at the bottom to adjust the position of the reverse line to the left and right.
  • After adjusting the reversing line, click [Confirm] to save the calibration.

Split screen mode

  • Click to select Full-screen mode / Split screen mode
  • After selecting the Split screen mode, half of the screen displays the Apple CarPlay/Andorid Auto interface, and half of the screen displays the front road camera view when using the Apple CarPlay/Andorid Auto mode with cell phone connectivity.
  • Full-Screen mode
  • This feature is only available in Apple CarPlay/Android Auto mode.

Time-lapse video Optional item

  • Click the “Time-lapse Recording” option in the settings, you can choose “Off”, “2 hours”, “8 hours”, “12 hours”, or “24 hours” (default off). After selecting the monitoring time as 12 hours or 24 hours, when the car is turned off (ACC disconnected), the system will turn off the screen after a five-second countdown to reduce power consumption and enter the monitoring state.
  • The system cannot do anything at this point unless the car is re-ignitioned (ACC-powered). Manually touch the screen to light up the screen display, and the system will prompt “Parking monitoring, shut down later”.
  • In the settings, if the “Time-lapse video” function is selected to “off” after the car is turned off (ACC is disconnected), the system will enter the normal shutdownprocess, and will not enter the parking monitoring function;
  • Time-lapse video” is continuous shooting at the speed of one frame per second, taking up very little space. But then it will play at 30 frames per second, so there will be a 30 times faster visual effect.
  • Note: This function must be connected to the power supply using the standard configuration ACC cable to be able to use, using the car charging source can not use this function!
