Safe use
Carefully read, understand and follow all information in this user manual before installing and using the swimming pool ladder. These warnings, instructions and safety guidelines address some common risks of water recreation, but they cannot cover all risks and dangers in all cases. Always use caution, common sense, and good judgment when enjoying any water activity. Retain this information for future reference.

Warnings

  • WARNING. For outdoor and domestic use only.
  • WARNING. This ladder is designed and manufactured for entering and leaving a swimming pool with a specific wall and/ or deck height. Do not use with other pools and/ or for other purposes.
  • Adult assembly required.
  • WARNING. Choking hazard. Keep small children away during assembly.
  • WARNING. Continuous, active and vigilant supervision of weak swimmers and non-swim-mers by a competent adult is required at all times (remembering that children under 5 are at the highest risk of drowning). Never swim/bathe in the pool alone.
  • Always assist children when they use the ladder to avoid falls and/ or serious injuries.
  • Always face the ladder when entering or leaving the pool.
  • Do not allow swimming under, through or behind the ladder.
  • WARNING. Maximum load 120kg (265lbs).
  • Removable ladders and/ or other access devices shall be places on a horizontal surface.
  • Do not allow bathers in the pool unless the area is sufficiently bright or lighted. Make sure all safety signs, ladders, pool floor and walkways are sufficiently illuminated.
  • WARNING. Never permit diving or jumping into the pool from the ladder. The water level in your pool is extremely shallow and is not suitable for these activities. Not following these instructions can result in serious injury or even death.
  • Only one user on the ladder at a time.
  • Remove and secure ladder when pool is not occupied.

Usage and maintenance

Failure to follow the maintenance instructions and warnings may result in adverse health effects or  injury, particularly to children.

  • WARNING. Inspect the ladder before each use and replace worn, defective or missing parts immediately. Worn, defective of missing parts can cause serious injuries.
  • WARNING. Check all nuts and bolts regularly to ensure the ladder stays sturdy.
  • When not in use, store ladder in safe and dry place.
  • During storage, never place/ store materials on ladder.
  • Keep ladder clean and free of all foreign materials.
  • Do periodic maintenance on screws; when the ladder is not in use, apply some anti-rust oil on them.
  • Pool ladder shall not be used in temperatures below -5°C. It is recommended to remove pool ladder from the swimming pool during the off season (winter months). Disassemble all the components and dry thoroughly. Store in a dry location out of children’s reach.

Warranty

  1. After the date of the purchase invoice, the owner of the EXIT product has a:
    • 6-month warranty on the pool ladder.
  2.  The warranty becomes defunct if:
    • This product is used incorrectly and/or carelessly and is used in such a way that it does not comply with its purpose.
    • This product is not assembled and maintained according to the instruction booklet.
    • Technical repairs are performed without consultation with the supplier.
    • Parts, which are mounted afterward, do not comply with the technical specifications of the product concerned or are mounted incorrectly.
    • Defects are a result of climatic influences such as corrosion, UV rays or normal disintegration.
  3. The warranty only applies when proof, accompanied by original purchase invoice, is presented to the EXIT toys customer service or an EXIT Toys dealer.
  4. In case of material and construction defects that have been ascertained by EXIT Toys, the product or its components will be repaired or replaced – according to its choice – free of charge during the warranty period mentioned in Article 1.
  5. If the claim for warranty is not justifiable, all the costs are at the expense of the owner.
  6.  The EXIT Toys products are designed for domestic and outdoor use. It is not permitted to rent out or place the toy in public areas like schools or day-care centers or sporting facilities. The warranty and any other liabilities shall expire if the toy is rented out or used in public areas.
