Good to know
- The TOG rating indicates the insulation capacity of the sleeping bag. The higher the rating, the warmer the sleeping bag.
- Our sleeping bags have a TOG rating of 1.0 and are intended for use when sleeping indoors in temperatures of 16-24°C (61-75°F).
- Remember to dress your baby according to the temperature.
- Keep an eye on your baby so they don’t get too warm. The easiest way is to feel the back of your baby’s neck – if the skin is moist, they are probably too warm.
- Do not use a sleeping bag which is damaged, torn or worn-out.
How to use
A sleeping bag for babies and small children is used instead of ordinary bedding and has several benefits for both you and your baby. The baby is limited in movement which minimises the risks associated with the baby rolling over onto its belly, sliding underneath the cover or climbing out of the cot. Instead of using blankets, that are typically kicked off, a sleeping bag makes it easier for you to keep a steady and suitable sleeping temperature for your baby, and hence improved sleeping routines.
Important!
A suitable temperature in children’s sleeping environment is 16-24 degrees
Celsius (61-75 degrees Fahrenheit). Some factors that may affect the
temperature in the sleeping bag are climate, room temperature, body
temperature and amount of garments. While in the sleeping bag, your baby shall
wear a sleep suit or pyjama, since the sleeping bag
is not intended to substitute these garments. Adjust clothing to room
temperature. This sleeping bag should not be used with an additional blanket
or quilt. Make sure that you always place your baby on his/her back.
