- Disconnecting from mains: When switching off the POWER switch, all the functions and light indicators of the unit will be stopped, but fully disconnecting the device from mains is done by unplugging the power cable from the mains input socket. For this reason, it always shall remain easily accessible.
- Equipment is connected to a socket-outlet with earthing connection by means of a power cord.
- The marking information is located at the bottom of apparatus.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on apparatus.

To ensure optimal operation of this device, we strongly recommend that its
maintenance be carried out by our authorised Technical Services.
Ecler VEO-XPT44A comes with a 3-year warranty.
INTRODUCTION
VEO-XPT44A is a professional HDBaseT extension kit that includes a transmitter and a receiver. It allows to extend a 4K video signal up to 40m or a Full HD signal up to 70m over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. It supports 4K video signals at 60Hz with 4:4:4 YUV chroma subsampling and HDR10. The transmitter includes a HDMI loop output for monitoring or daisy-chain connection. A stereo unbalanced output on Euroblock connector is available both, on the transmitter and the receiver, for easy integration. In addition, VEO-XPT44A includes bidirectional PoH feature so the transmitter can be powered by the receiver and vice versa. With a reduced form factor and the added features of RS-232 and bidirectional IR, this is the perfect solution for any applications where AV and control extensions are required.

DEVICE CONNECTION

- HDMI signal sources such as Blue Ray Player, STB, etc: connect devices to the HDMI input of VEO-XPT44A transmitter.
- HDMI Display devices such as a 4K or Full HD display or projector: connect devices to the HDMI outputs of VEO-XPT44A transmitter/receiver.
- IR Blaster: connect it to the IR-Out port of VEO-XPT44A transmitter and/or receiver
- IR Receiver: connect it to the IR-In port of VEO-XPT44A transmitter and/or receiver.
- RS-232 Source and Endpoint devices (such as PC, Serial Controller, etc.): connect to Euroblock RS-232 ports.
- Amplifiers or Audio devices: connect to Audio ports of VEO-XPT44A transmitter and/or receiver.
- Connecting Transmitter & Receiver: connect a CAT. 5e/6a/7 cable from RJ45 output of transmitter to RJ45 input of receiver
- Power on: connect the 24VDC power supply to the VEO-XPT44A transmitter or receiver. Please note that only one of them needs to be plugged into the mains socket and both will work.
Note: Please insert/extract the HDMI cables gently
