Intended Use
- Sight Go is intended for use as a vision aid to help people with low vision see better while performing various activities of daily living (excluding driving, operating machinery, or other visually demanding activities for which there is an inherent risk of injury or death).
Use in Activities
- eSight Go is not safe to use while conducting all activities. Using Sight Go can make it hard for you to see and understand your surroundings, including by making it hard to gauge the distance between objects.
- When engaging in any activity using eSight Go, ensure that you can maintain awareness of your surroundings.
- Failing to do so can result in accidents, which can cause damage to your device or surrounding property, serious personal injury, and death.
Here are some specific instructions for using Sight Go in activities:
- Do not operate eSight Go while in control of any moving vehicle or engaging in activities that require significant physical movement or skill, including but not limited to driving. jogging, biking, playing sports, cooking, cutting with a knife or scissors, or using power tools.
- Do not operate eSight Go anywhere where it is important to remain aware of your surroundings (such as near a busy road or on a construction site).
- eSight Go can obscure your field of vision above the line of sight. Be aware of your surroundings and take care to avoid low objects that you may not be able to see.
- eSight Go is not intended for use in rain or snow.
- Using Sight Go in rain or snow can cause it to stop working, which, depending on the activity, could result in an accident or injury. It can also result in an electrical shock (which is discussed below).
- During mobile use, such as walking or navigating stairs and curbs, ensure you are fully aware of your surroundings and adjust eSight Go to maintain peripheral vision and situational awareness.
- Do not walk while the device is in Freeze Frame mode.
Power Supply
- Only use eSight Go with an approved power supply. Using an unapproved power supply may result in damage to the device or power supply that could cause overheating, fire, explosion, electric shock, or smoking, which could result in damage to the device or surrounding property, and serious personal injury. or death.
Battery Safety
- Do not expose the device or its batteries to temperatures over 60° C (140° F) or place, store, or charge the device or batteries in or near a heat source, in a high-temperature location, or strong direct sunlight. Doing so could cause the device or its batteries to get too hot, which could cause overheating, fire, explosion, electric shock, or smoking, which could result in damage to the device or surrounding property, serious personal injury, or death.
- Do not pierce, open, attempt to service, or disassemble the battery. Doing so could result in electric shock, overheating of the battery (which could cause smoking or a fire), or exposure to fluids inside the battery, any of which could result in damage to the device or surrounding property, serious personal injury, or death.
- If the battery leaks and you come into contact with the leaked fluids, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
- If a battery is swallowed, it can lead to serious personal injury or death. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek medical attention immediately.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the remote, and keep it away from children, who may accidentally swallow the batteries.
Electrical Shock Hazard
eSight Go is an electrical device. Using it improperly can result in electrical shock, which could cause serious personal injury or death. To avoid the risk of electrical shock, comply with the following instructions:
- Do not use the device outdoors when it is raining or snowing.
- Use only eSight-approved USB power adapters, batteries, cables, and accessories.
- Check the device and charging components before each use. Do not use the device and/or any charging components if any part is broken, damaged, or loose.
- Do not attempt to take apart, open, service, or modify the device.
- Do not drop Sight Go or expose the device to liquids.
- Do not plug in or operate the device with wet hands.
Interference with Medical Devices
- As with any device incorporating a radio signal, Sight Go may interfere with certain medical devices, including implanted medical devices, such as pacemakers. Keep eSight Go at least 6 inches from any implanted medical device and, if you use an implanted or other electronic medical device, consult a physician before using eSight Go.
- If you use a hearing aid, contact the manufacturer before using the Sight Go to determine whether or not your hearing aid will be affected by radio frequencies emitted by the eSight Go.
Potentially Explosive Environment
- eSight Go is an electrical device. In explosive environments, such as near gas pumps, eSight Go could generate a spark that might cause a fire or explosion, which could result in damage to the device or surrounding property, serious personal injury, or death. To mitigate this risk, comply with the following guidelines:
- Always comply with regulations, instructions, and signs for the use of electronic devices in potentially explosive environments.
- Do not use the device at refueling points (gas stations), near fuels or chemicals, or in other potentially explosive environments.
- Do not use or store the device in areas with high concentrations of dust.
Seizure Risk
- eSight Go employs advanced technology to enhance visual information in real-time. However, under specific conditions such as exposure to varying frequencies of artificial lighting (typically 50Hz or 60Hz), users may notice image flickering.
- Although eSight Go includes flicker control settings designed to minimize this effect to those used in photography and video equipment-a risk of flicker-induced discomfort or seizures persists for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or flicker sensitivity. If you have a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult with a healthcare professional before using Sight Go.
Personal Discomfort
- Wearing Sight Go is like beginning any exercise program, take it slowly to gradually build your skill and tolerance. It is not uncommon to feel a little uncomfortable at first. Take breaks if you find you are fatigued or experiencing discomfort.
Stop using the device if you experience any of the following:
- Vision issues, including blurred or double vision;
- Irritation of your skin where the device contacts it, including redness, swelling, or itchiness;
- Eye issues, including pain, involuntary movement (twitching), or strain;
- Dizziness, lightheadedness, balance problems, or disorientation;
- Nausea or headaches; or
- Other symptoms of motion sickness.
Continuing to use the device after you experience any of these symptoms may make the symptoms worse and may also be a sign of other, more serious problems. If symptoms persist, contact a physician.
Place_out.of Reach of Children. and Pets
- eSight Go is not a toy. Never allow children or pets to play with the device, or its charging cable, or any other accessories. The device contains small parts that may be a choking hazard.
- Allowing children or pets to play with the device could result in serious personal injury or death.
Skin Irritation
CAUTION
- eSight Go is worn next to your skin. Some people may experience reactions on their skin to certain materials, particularly with prolonged contact. Stop using the device if you notice skin irritation. If symptoms persist, consult a physician.
Heat
- eSight Go may become warm and display a temperature warning during normal use. Allow for adequate air circulation under and around the device.
- If the device gets uncomfortably warm, remove it and take a break. If the device continues to be too hot, discontinue use immediately and turn the eSight Go device off. Failure to do so could result in burns or other injuries.
Sound
- Excessive exposure to loud sounds can cause hearing damage. Use only the minimum volume necessary to hear clearly in quiet surroundings.
- General Use Recommendations For Users Aged 13 and Older eSight Go is designed for users 13 years and up, ensuring they can safely understand and apply the safety instructions. Supervision for younger users is recommended, promoting safe use across all ages.
Storage
- Turn off eSight Go and securely store it in the provided protective carrying case to protect against scratches, dust, and potential environmental hazards.
Cybersecurity
- Ensure over-the-air software updates and Share functionalities are performed over a secure network that requires a password.

Correct Disposal

- Your eSight Go Serial Number is a unique 9-digit code that begins with “EG”, serving as your device’s identifier. This serial number can be located on the inner side of the right arm of your eSight Go.
