ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND DISPOSAL

Note: Environmental protection and disposal
Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of electronic devices, lamps and batteries properly at the end of their service life.
These can be returned free of charge to public collection points or to retailers. The deletion of personal data is the responsibility of the consumer. Light bulbs and batteries that can be removed safely and are not permanently nstalled must be removed in advance for separate disposal. State law regulates the details of legally compliant disposal. The crossed-out wheelie bin label marks electrical devices and batteries that must under no circumstances be disposed of with household waste after their service life. Symbols placed under the garbage can indicate any ingredients it may contain (lead = Pb, mercury= Hg, cadmium= Cd).
This separation is necessary because batteries and electrical devices are both valuable resources and contain substances that are harmful to people and their environment. By recycling, collecting and reusing suitable batteries and electrical devices, you contribute to the preservation and protection of the environment and human health.
