BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
In addition to the supplies in the box, installing your Kuth Cool Rinse requires an adjustable wrench and a screwdriver. No big deal. You got this.
SHUT OFF THE WATER TO YOUR TOILET
You’ll probably want to give the toilet a flush or two as well to guarantee the tank is empty and to confirm that water is no longer flowing.
REMEMBER RIGHTY-TIGHTY
UNSCREW YOUR EXISTING TOILET SEAT
Make sure to keep track of any hardware that comes off when you do as you’ll need this to put it back on.
PLACING YOUR COOL RINSE BIDET
Place the Kuth Cool Rinse as far back as it will go. Then insert your previous screws into the circular screw slots (they’re designed to accomodate most toilets). Then replace the toilet seat itself, screwing it down on top of the Kuth Cool Rinse.
Note
If your Kuth Cool Rinse arrived with the circular disks separated from the actual unit, you’ll need to snap them in before before this step.
ATTACHING THE T-SPLITTER
Remove the hose sending water to your toilet on 1 the end that attaches to
your toilet. Next, screw on the metal T-splitter before replacing the water
hose on the bottom of the T-splitter.
Make sure that the rubber o-ring is placed in the top of the T-splitter before
attaching it to your toilet. This will ensure a water-fitting. Hand-tighten
each connection, taking care not to cross thread or force anything, before
turning an additional 1/4 to l/2turn with the wrench to tighten it up.
FINISH UP
After attaching the other end of the hose to the 1 underside of the handle, turn the water back on and give it a test (try not to shoot yourself in the face, you’ve been warned).
Final note: Place a dry piece of toilet paper on the floor beneath the hoses and let it stay there for the first 20 minutes and use or two to make it easier to spot any leaks requiring additional tightening.
Enjoy
Sit as far back as your can, without getting weird.
Turn it up a bit a time to find the right amount of pressure; if anything
feels uncomfortable, back off a bit.
Now sit up nice and tall and do a bit of rocking or shimmying. A full clean
takes about a minute!
It’s just that easy.
