Product Usage Instructions

User Operation:
To open the lock, enter a 4-digit User Code, 6-digit Technician Code, 8-digit SubMaster Code, or the 8-digit Master Code.
PENALTY TIME: Three incorrect codes result in a 10-second delay before further use.

Changing Codes:
It is recommended to change the Master Code and User Code before initial use.

Functions:
Before programming, select the appropriate function:

  • REPEATED USE: Default function for repeated usage. Up to 20 User Codes can be programmed.
  • SINGLE USE: For one-time use applications. The code is erased after use.

Programming Instructions:
All programming begins by pressing the # key followed by the Master Code or SubMaster Code.

Master Code Commands:

  • Single Use (Double Entry): # Master Code 22
  • Single Use (Single Entry): # Master Code 24

  • Q: What happens when the battery is low?
    A: When the battery power is low, the red LED will flash three times before unlocking. Change batteries promptly.

    A: Up to 20 User Codes can be programmed for each lock in REPEATED USE mode.

  • Q: What are the default codes provided with the lock?

The electronic lock is an easy-to-use lock providing keypad access without the need for keys. The lock has a simple 11-button keypad, (0-9) and a # button.
Please read this entire document before use.

How to Read This Document

  •  means blue LED flashes one time.
  •  means blue LED flashes two times.
  •  means red LED flashes one time.
  • means red LED flashes two times.
  • means red LED flashes three times.
  • MasterCode means enter the master code number (8 digits).
  • SubMasterCode means enter the sub-master number (8 digits).
  • TechnicianCode means enter the technician number (6 digits).
  • UserCode means enter the user code number (4 digits).

USER OPERATION

To open the lock, simply punch in a 4-digit UserCode, a 6-digit TechnicianCode, the 8-digit SubMasterCode, or the 8-digit MasterCode (e.g. 2244 is the factory default UserCode).

  • PENALTY TIME
    Entering three (3) incorrect codes will result in a (10) second time delay before any further use of the lock is possible.

  • BATTERY POWER
    The lock uses four (4) AA batteries.

  • LOW BATTERY
    When the battery power is low, the red LED will flash (3) times before any unlocking. Batteries should be changed as soon as this happens.

CODES – The Basics
The lock has four access levels available:

  1. Master Code (8-digits long)
    • Opens the lock (deletes current User Code in single-use function)
    • Changes the Master Code
    • Set / Change / Delete the Sub-Master, Technician, and User Codes.
    • Select between repeated-use and single-use codes.
  2. Sub-Master Code (8-digits long)
    • Opens the lock (deletes current User Code in single-use function)
    • Changes the SubMaster Code
    • Set / Change / Delete the Technician Code and User Code.
  3. Technician Code (6-digits long)
    • Opens the lock (retains current User Code in single-use function)
  4. User Code (4-digits long,)
    • Opens the lock

The locker lock is supplied with two factory set codes:

  1. Master Code: 11335577
  2. User Code: 2244

Management should change the Master Code and User Code prior to first use.

FUNCTIONS

Before programming, select the most appropriate function for the application: REPEATED USE or SINGLE USE.

  • REPEATED USE
    This is the default function and is already pre-programmed in new locks. This is the most common function and is used where the same code or codes will be repeatedly used. Up to (20) User Codes can be programmed for each lock in this mode.

  • SINGLE-USE
    The user enters a single use code which will lock and then open the lock only once and then be erased. This function is used for short-term, multi-occupancy applications (e.g. a locker in a leisure center).

PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

All programming begins by pressing the # key followed by the MasterCode or SubMasterCode.

MASTER CODE COMMANDS:

  • Single Use (Double Entry):

    Master Code 22 .

    Example: # 11335577 22 .
    Result: The lock will operate in Single Use Function, remaining unlocked until a User enters their own Code (twice) to lock.

  • Single Use (Single Entry):

    Master Code 24 .

    Example: # 11335577 24 .
    Result: The lock will operate in Single Use Function, remaining unlocked until a User enters their own Code (once) to lock.

  • Repeated Use:

    Master Code 26 .

    Example: # 11335577 26 .
    Result: The lock will operate in Repeated Use Function, remaining locked unless opened by a valid code. Any User Codes in position 02 to 20 will erased. A default User Code of 2244 will be active in position 01.

  • Change the Master Code:

    Master Code 01 New Master Code Confirm New Master Code .

    Example: # 11335577 01 12345678 12345678 .
    Result: The Master Code has been changed to 12345678.

  • Set or Change a User Code (Repeated Use Function):

    Master Code 02 User Position New User Code .

    Example: # 11335577 02 01 7788 .
    Result: The User Code has been set at 7788.

  • Delete a User Code (Repeated Use Function):

    MasterCode 03 User Position .

    Example: # 11335577 03 01 .
    Result: The User Code in position 01 has been deleted.
    Note: To delete all User Codes, enter 00 as the User Position.

  • Set or Change the SubMaster Code:

    MasterCode 04 New SubMasterCode Confirm New SubMasterCode .

    Example: # 11335577 0 499887766 99887766 .
    Result: The Sub-Master Code has been changed to 99887766.

  • Delete/Disable the Sub-Master Code:

    MasterCode 05 05 .

    Example: # 11335577 05 05 .
    Result: The Sub-Master Code has been deleted/disabled.

  • Enable Auto-Unlock (Single Use Function):

    MasterCode 10 Time <01-24> hours .

    Example: # 11335577 10 06 .
    Result: The lock will automatically unlock 6 hours after being locked.

  • Disable Auto-Unlock (Single Use Function):

    MasterCode 07 00 .

    Example: # 11335577 07 00 .
    Result: The lock will not automatically unlock and will remain locked until a valid User / Technician / SubMaster / Master code is entered.

  • Auto-Unlock at Set Time (Single Use Function):

    MasterCode 11 HHmm .

    Example: # 11335577 11 2000 .
    Result: The lock will automatically unlock at 20:00.

  • Disable Auto-Unlock at Set Time (Single Use Function):

    MasterCode 11 HHmm .

    Example: # 11335577 11 2400 .
    Result: The lock will not automatically unlock and will remain locked until a valid User / Technician / SubMaster / Master code is entered.

  • Set or Change Date & Time:

    MasterCode 12 YYMMDD HHmm .

    Example: # 11335577 12 200226 1128 .
    Result: The date and time has been set to 11:28 26 February 2020. Note: Daylight Savings Time (DST) is not supported.

  • Restrict Opening Time:

    MasterCode 18 HHmm (Start) HHmm (End) .

    Example: # 11335577 12 0830 1700 .
    Result: User code can only be used between 08:30 and 17:00.

  • Change Locked Indication (Single Use Function):

    MasterCode 08 Disable or Enabel <00 or 01> .

    Example: # 11335577 08 00 .
    Result: The lock indication has been disabled. Note: By default, locked indication is enabled. The red light will flash once every 5 seconds to indicate a locked lock.

  • Set or Change Technician Code:

    MasterCode 13 New TechnicianCode Confirm New TechnicianCode .

    Example: # 11335577 13 555777 555777 .
    Result: The Technician Code has been set to 555777.

  • Delete/Disable Technician Code:

    MasterCode 13 000000 000000 .

    Example: # 11335577 13 000000 000000 .
    Result: The Technician Code has been deleted/disabled.

  • Battery Level Check:

    MasterCode 87 .

    Example: # 11335577 87 .
    Result: Both the Red / Blue LED will flash to indicate the current battery status. The lock will then return to normal mode.

  • Factory Reset:

    MasterCode 99 99 .

    Example: # 11335577 99 99 .
    Result: All User Codes will have been deleted, the Sub-Master and Technician Codes disabled and all settings reverted to factory default. The Master Code will be 11335577 and a single User Code of 2244 will be available. The lock will be in Repeated Use Function.

  • Firmware Check:

    MasterCode 88 .

    Example: # 11335577 88 .
    Result: The LED will flash to indicate firmware version (e.g.  Red LED flash once and Blue LED flash twice, firmware version is 12). User can wait 30 seconds to exit or can press ‘0’ button to exit and return to normal mode.

SUBMASTER CODE COMMANDS:

  • Set or Change the Sub-Master Code:

    SubMasterCode 04 New Su-MasterCode Confirm New Sub-MasterCode .

    Example: # 87654321 04 99887766 99887766 .
    Result: The Sub-Master Code has been changed to 99887766.

  • Set or Change a User Code (Repeated Use Function):

    SubMasterCode 02 User Position New User Code .

    Example: # 87654321 02 01 7788 .
    Result: The User Code has been set at 7788.

  • Delete a User Code (Repeated Use Function):

    SubMasterCode 03 User Position .

    Example: # 87654321 03 01 .
    Result: The User Code in position 01 has been deleted.
    Note: To delete all User Codes, enter 00 as the User Position.

  • Set or Change Date & Time:

    SubMasterCode 12 YYMMDD HHmm .

    Example: # 87654321 12 200226 1128 .
    Result: The date and time has been set to 11:28 26 February 2020. Note: Daylight Savings Time (DST) is not supported.

  • Change the User Code:

    UserCode New UserCode Confirm New UserCode .

    Example: # 2244 6611 6611 .
    Result: The User Code has been changed to from 2244 to 6611.

BATTERY FAILURE OVERRIDE

The lock has been designed so that a mobile power bank can be used to open the lock to allow access to the batteries so they can be replaced should they fail.

  1. Plug the power bank into the Micro-USB port at the bottom of the lock, it will power up.
  2. Enter the Master Code.
  3. While the lock is in an unlocked state, open the cabinet and replace the batteries in the latch unit.

FACTORY RESET INSTRUCTIONS

PHYSICAL FACTORY RESET INSTRUCTIONS (MANUAL)

Note: The procedure requires the locker door to be open.

  1. Open battery compartment
  2. Remove a single battery
  3. Press & hold pinhole reset button with a wire pin
  4. Replace battery, whilst continuing to press the reset button
  5. Release the reset button
  6. Within three seconds, press the reset button three times

All User Codes will have been deleted, the Sub-Master and Technician Codes disabled, and all settings reverted to factory default. The Master Code will be 11335577 and a single User Code of 2244 will be available. The lock will be in Repeated Use Function.
