- The buzzer will begin to sound and the LED will blink orange: 1 time for sensor 1, or 2 times for sensor 2, every 2 seconds.
- IMPORTANT: Calibration requests take place instantly. Ensure the sensor is in a stable environment without gas for at least 15 minutes before applying a baseline calibration.
- Hold down the left button for 5 seconds to activate baseline calibration.
- The buzzer will sound and the LED will blink 3 times to indicate the status of the request. Red LED if failed, Green LED if succeeded.
- IMPORTANT: Check the provided table to ensure the correct gas is being used.
- Apply gas until the output stabilizes, which should take 60-90 seconds.
- Hold down the right button for 5 seconds to activate span calibration.
- The buzzer will sound and the LED will blink 3 times to indicate the status of the request. Red LED if failed, Green LED if succeeded.
NOTE: If calibration is done incorrectly, go back through steps 1 and 2, then hold down the left + right buttons for 10 seconds to reset to factory calibration. The buzzer will sound and the LED will blink 3 times to indicate the status of the request. Red LED if failed, Green LED if succeeded.
FAQ
- Q: How often should I perform calibration on the Gas Sensor XYZ?
- A: It is recommended to perform calibration at least once every month for accurate results.
- Q: What should I do if the LED blinks red during calibration?
- A: If the LED blinks red, it indicates a failed calibration. Please retry the calibration process ensuring the correct steps are followed.
