SAFETY INFORMATION
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away from the unit unless continuously supervised.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate, clean the appliance, or perform user maintenance.
- Before starting work disconnect the power supply!
- The appliance should be installed by and commissioned by a qualified professional only.
- The device must not be mounted directly underneath a socket outlet.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s service agent, or similar qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Caution! To prevent overheating, the radiator must not be covered completely for technical safety reasons.
Overview
GENERAL INFORMATION
- The electrical installation must comply with local or national wiring regulations.
- For ULOW-E, a fused (3A) electrical spur with a switch having a 3mm separation on all poles must be provided in an easily accessible position adjacent to the unit.
- For connection to the switched fused spur, the Euro plug and switch can be removed from the supply cable, leaving approximately 1100mm of cable.
- This product is Class II and is rated IPX2.
- Number of ventilators = (length [mm] / 100) -2
- The recommendations of BS7593, Code of Practice for treatment of water in domestic hot water central heating systems should be followed where appropriate.
- After the radiator has been installed, check the correct position of the temperature sensor. This sensor must be in direct contact with the water channel of the radiator to ensure proper functioning. [5]
- The switch-on temperature of the fans is about 28°C radiator return temperature.
- Outside the heating season, the unit should be switched off at the switched fused spur to prevent the fans from starting unintentionally.
- Do not use any scouring detergents or paint thinning!
