PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

• UMATAG will easily locate and find your bicycle or scooter for you.
• This accessory can be fitted easily under the saddle of your bicycle or on the frame of your scooter, regardless of the model.
• The “Find My” application of your Apple device will help you locate your UMATAGon the map.
• You can also activate a beep to find your bicycle or scooter more quickly.
• The location information is only sent to Apple if you actively locate the device, declare it as lost or give your authorisation for your last position in Apple to be sent. The data is encrypted on Apple servers and when using the Find Network. Everyone’s information is confidential, even for Apple.
• Before using the Find My Apple application and your UMATAG, the latest version of i05, of iPadOS or of macOS is recommended. The object Search application on Apple Watch requires the latest version of watchOS.

USER GUIDE

1. Pairing
2. Download the latest version of IOS or iPadOS.
3. Activate Bluetooth® on your telephone and then remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment of your UMATAG.1
4. Place UMATAG close to your iPhone (less than 5 metres).

  * Open the Find My application. 2
  * Go to the object tab and press Add an object or “+”. 3
  * Then press “Another object has been added”, and follow the instructions on the screen.4
4. If UMATAG is not added to the Apple login within ten minutes, the Bluetooth will stop transmitting to save energy.
5. Attach the clamp ring to UMATAG. 5
6. Attach the clamp ring under the saddle of your bicycle or to the frame of your scooter. 6
7. If you need to reset UMATAG, please follow these steps:
  1. To reinitialise it, you must first of all remove the UMATAG battery and put it back in five times in succession. If the reinitialization is successful, you will hear a different start-up sound. Then, you can add it again to the Find My application. (Follow USER GUIDE)
  2. If you want to pair UMATAG with another Apple login, first of all delete it from Find My by pressing on the object tab, selecting the name of the UMATAG object, then pressing Delete object. It can then be added once more by following the instructions in the Usek Gulbt.

2. Finding nearby objects – Play sound function
   Once UMATAG has been paired, if it is close to the Apple device of the user, you can click on “play the sound” in your Find My application, and UMATAG will beep 2 times, so the user will be able to easily find UMATAG. 7

3. If UMATAG is far away from the user
   The user can see the approximate location of the UMATAG. Open the Find My application, then move around the map to find it again.

4. Lost mode – Finding objects more easily
   If UMATAG has been put in “Lost mode”, you will automatically receive a notification if it is detected by other Apple devices. You can activate the Lost mode in the Find My application by adding your telephone number or your email. So, if someone finds your UMATAG, they can see how to contact you by following the instructions provided.

5. Setting to lost mode
   Open the Find My application, select « UMATAG», and click on “Lost mode”. Follow the application instructions to enter your telephone number or email. The lost mode is now activated. 8

6. Find objects thanks to hundreds of millions of users
   Find My Network will help you find your belongings, at the beach or in the gym, for example. The UMATAG will send a secure Bluetooth® signal that can be detected by iOS devices in proximity in Find My Network. These devices send the location of your UMATAG device to iCloud. You can then access the Find My application and see it on the map. The entire process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy.

9. Turn the rear cover anticlockwise to unlock it.

10. Replace the battery (CR2032)

11. Put the rear cover back on

12. Turn the rear cover clockwise to lock it.

13. Tighten the screws, and you’re done.
