MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Hands-free kit to make and receive calls legally while at the steering wheel of your vehicle.

• It can be connected to two Bluetooth® devices at the same time in sleep mode.
• Easier and safer to use while driving: one single button to pick up and hang up calls and another to use the voice command of your smartphone.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Activating and deactivating the hands-free function:

Switch on the device, then place the On/Off button (7) in the ON position. The device will automatically switch to pairing mode and the indicator light (8) will flash alternately red and blue.
Place the On/Off (7) button in the OFF position to switch off your device.

Picking up/ hanging up a call:

Press the multifunction button (3) once to pick up a call, and press it again to hang up.

Rejecting a call:

If you have an incoming call, press the multifunction button (3) for two seconds to reject the call.

Number redial:

Press the multifunction button (3) twice quickly to redial the last number called.

Mute mode:

During a call, press the mute button (6) once to switch off the microphone of the CARBTKIT6, and then press it again to reactivate the microphone.

Siri and voice command:

Press the Voice Command button (2) to start a voice command on your smartphone. The voice command is compatible with most smartphones.

Increasing the volume:

Press the Volume+ (5) button to increase the volume. A tone will sound again once the maximum volume has been reached.

Decreasing the volume:

Press the Volume – (4) button to decrease the volume. A tone will sound again once the minimum volume has been reached.

Pausing / playing music:
Press the multifunction (3) button once to play or pause your audio track.

Next/ previous audio track:
Press the volume+ (5) button for two seconds to go to the next audio track.
Press the volume – (4) button for two seconds to go back to the previous audio track.

Call transfer:
During a call, press the Volume+ (5) button for two seconds to transfer the call  between theCARBTKIT6 and your telephone.

Multipoint connection:

Connect the first telephone to the CARBTKIT6. Then switch off the Bluetooth® on your paired telephone.
Then connect your second smartphone to the CARBTKIT6. You can then reactivate the Bluetooth® on your first telephone. It will reconnect automatically to the CARBTKIT6.
Your two telephones are now connected to the CARBTKIT6.

Managing multipoint connection calls:
A) If you are on a call on the first telephone and you receive a call on your second telephone, press the multifunction (3) button for two seconds to reject the call on your second telephone.
You will stay on line with the person you are talking to on the first telephone.
B) If, however, you wish to receive the call on your second telephone, press the multifunction (3) button twice to pick up the call on your second telephone. The call on the first telephone will be kept. Press the multifunction (3) button twice to transfer the call between your telephones.
Press the multifunction button (3) once to hang up the current call on the CARBTKIT6. The call will be automatically transferred to the second telephone.

Leaving pairing mode:
A) If the CARBTKIT6 is in pairing mode but there is no connection, it will leave pairing mode after 10 minutes and will go to pause mode. It will then switch off after 5 minutes.
B) If the CARBTKIT6 is already connected to a device and it disconnects, the CARBTKIT6 will go to pairing mode first of all for 10 minutes and will then switch to pause mode. It will then switch off after 5 minutes.
C) If the distance between the CARBTKIT6 and the device to be paired exceeds 10 metres, the connection will be lost and the CARBTKIT6 will go to pairing mode. After 25 minutes of inactivity, the CARBTKIT6 will automatically switch off.

Automatic reconnection:
A) If the CARBTKIT6 switches on, it will automatically reconnect to the last phone it paired with if it is within range.
B) If you lose the Bluetooth® connection between your telephone and the CARBTKIT6, reduce the distance between the 2 devices within 5 minutes for an automatic reconnection.

Battery status indicator:
If the battery level goes under 20%, the indicator light will flash twice every 15 seconds with a warning sound every 60 seconds.

Charging the device:
Connect the USB cable provided to a USB source (USB charger, USB car radio, etc.).
The red indicator light (8) shows that the battery is being charged and will switch off when it has finished charging.
