ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The Home Depot Lighting Fixture
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING: SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION. INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT. DO NOT INSTALL.
NOTE: CAREFULLY UNPACK EACH PIECE IN THE TOP LAYER OF PACKING BEFORE REMOVING. RETAIN ALL PACKING MATERIAL UNTIL INSPECTION AND INSTALLATION ARE FNAL.

Carefully remove all parts from the box.

Remove the mounting plate (B) from the canopy (E) by unscrewing the cap nuts (F).

Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure it with the mounting screws (D).

Connect the safety cables as shown in the diagram.

Wrap the fixture ground wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate (B) and secure it, then connect it to the ground wire in the junction box using the wire nut (A). THIS FIXTURE MUST BE GROUNDED.

Connect the fixture white wire to the neutral wire in the junction box using the wire nut (A).

Connect the fixture black wire to the hot wire in the junction box using the wire nut (A).
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OTHERWISE, SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED. -
Install the canopy (E) to the mounting plate (B) and secure it with the cap nuts (F).

Install the center pipe(G) to the canopy (E).

Insert bulbs (not included) into the sockets.

Install the glass lampshade (H) to the fixture body and secure it with the metal washer (I) and the final (J).
DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN, OTHERWISE, THE GLASS COULD BECOME DAMAGED
- Clean with a dry, soft cloth only. Use no harsh abrasives or chemical agents.
