Cleaning products in stainless steel
- Wipe the product clean with a damp cloth or sponge and washing-up detergent.
- You should also wipe up washing-up detergent or cleaner to avoid stains.
- Do not leave chlorous liquids on the product for several hours, as chlorine can damage the product and make the stainless steel surface matt.
- Stains that can’t be removed by normal wiping can be rubbed off with a soft brush or a nylon sponge and liquid cleaner.
- Do not use cleaners containing abrasives.
- Rinse with water and wipe with a dry cloth.
- Always wipe and rub the product lengthwise when cleaning.
Good to know
- Do not use scouring powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools that can scratch the stainless steel surface.
- The damp surface can be discolored if substances containing iron, from steel wool, nails or gravel, are allowed to remain on it.
- The discoloration is caused by the foreign material.
- Matt parts of the product will be shiny again if you sprinkle them with chalk, rub with a soft cloth, rinse with water and wipe.
