Cleaning
- Wash, rinse and dry the kettle before using it for the first time. The kettle should be washed by hand.
- Do not use steel wool as this may scratch the surface.
- The inside can be cleaned by using a deliming agent or a mixture of boiled water and vinegar or water and citric acid. Rinse carefully after cleaning.
Good to know
- Do not fill above the marked water level (max. 1.7 liters ).
- Whistle function when water boils.
- Safe on gas hobs, induction hobs, glass ceramic and cast iron hobs.
- Note that the whistle can be damaged by the flame when the kettle is used on a gas stove. Always place the kettle on electric element/zone with an equally large or smaller diameter than the kettle’s bottom.
- Note that the handle gets hot when the kettle is used. Always use pot holders when moving the kettle or lifting the lid.
- Over time, the plastic parts can change in colour. Polish with oil to freshen up the surface.
