Installation Instructions

1. CAUTION : Fully charge your battery before your first use.
   CAUTION : For best performance only use the supplied USB Charger and Cable. DO NOT USE THE USB PORT IF IT IS WET. Make sure to dry out the port completely before connecting to power. Failure to do so will void the warranty.

2. INSTALL SIM OR SD CARDS

3. With the unit powered on, simultaneously press the power button and volume up button.

4. Tap Power Off. Allow the device to power off.

5. Unlock and remove the battery door to access the cards by sliding the two locking spots to the symbol unlock slots.

6. Remove battery.

7. Orient the SIM card so the contacts are facing away from you. Orient the microSD card with the connectors facing down and away from you.

8. Gently push the card into the slot.
   CAUTION : Do not force the card into the slot as it may damage the device. If the card does not install properly, check the orientation and try again.
   NOTE : The Archer 4 only accepts microSD and nano SIM cards.

REMOVING SIM OR SD CARDS

1. To remove a card, gently press the card and then release. The card will spring out.
2. Carefully replace the battery.
3. Carefully replace the battery door and lock the battery door latches.
   WARNING : The battery door must be properly seated, secured and locked before exposing the unit to water. Failure to perform steps 2-3 could lead to water damage of the unit.

POWER ON

1. Press and hold the power button down for 3 seconds.

ADDITIONAL SETUP

POWER OFF

1. Simultaneously press the power button and volume up button.
2. Tap Power Off on the screen.

ADD YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT

1. Tap Settings app.
2. Tap Users & Accounts and then tap Add Account.
3. Tap Google on the Add an Account screen.
4. Follow the instructions to setup your Google Account.

ACCESS APPLICATIONS

1. Swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen. The Apps screen shows all applications installed on your device.
2. Press and drag the icon for any application to create a shortcut on the Home screen.
3. Tap Play Store to find and install new applications.

CONNECT TO WI-FI (WIRELESS LAN)

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Long tap Internet.
3. Tap Wi-Fi to turn Wi-Fi on.
4. Tap on the network you want to access. The Wi-Fi indicator will appear at the top of the screen when connected.

CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH®

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
2. Long tap the Bluetooth® icon.
3. Tap Pair new device. A list of possible devices displays. Previously paired devices are listed as Saved devices.
4. Choose the name of the device to pair to from the list. The Bluetooth® icon will appear at the top of the screen when connected.
