Functions:
0/ : Short press to turn the unit on; short press again to reset zero.
Long press for 3 seconds to turn the unit off. By moving the Stem, gauge will
auto power on.
mm/in/ABS: Short press to switch between in and mm decimal reading; Long press for 3 seconds to enter ABS (incremental measuring mode). “INC” will appear on the display. Gauge will measure under a relate zero mode.
Long press for 3 seconds again to exit. “INC” will disappear from the display.
PRESET: To set up the preset value, long press for 3 seconds, the PRESET button for 3 second, “P” will flash on the display.
Long press PRESET again, “+” will flash, short press to change to “-”; or long press to move to the next digit. Short press to change the number value and long press to move the next digit. As the set up finishes for the last digit, long press PRESET again, “P” will flash; short press to exit out and “P” will disappear on the display.
The preset value will take over as the default “zero”. But pressing the Zero button, the preset value will display.
+/- : Press to switch measurement value between positive and negative.
TOL: To set up TOL (Tolerance) mode, Long press the button for 3 seconds to enter TOL setup, “TOL” will flash.
Long press again, the first digit will flash, to set MIN value, short press to change number value, repeat the steps for all digits. At the last digit, long press the button, “TOL” will flash; short press the button, “TOL” will be constant for a moment and start to flash again, it is ready to set MAX value. Long press the button, first digit will flash; short press to change number value. Repeat the steps until finish setting of the last digit. Long press, “TOL” will flash; and short press again to exit out the set up process.
When using the TOL function, “TOL” will show on the display. And measurement value within the tolerance, “○” will be displayed next to the measured value. When measurement is out of tolerance, either “▲” or “▼” will be displayed next the measured value.
Trouble shooting: If gauge is not functioning correctly, remove the battery for master reset
Precautions:
- Do not expose the instruments to direct sunlight or cold temperature.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the gauge for an extended period of time.
- Avoid exposure to electromagnetic fields.
- Keep dry when not in use.
