HOW TO INSTALL THE BATTERY
- Unscrew the nuts from the back side of the tracker.
- Remove the back cover.
- Place the batter inside the battery compartment.
- Place the cover back on the tracker.
HOW IT WORKS
It’s actually rather easy; the owner of the animal has a remote for the tracking station, and the animal has a tag on its collar. Simply using RF signals, the base remote locates the tag and notifies you if you are heading in the proper way in search of your missing pet.

Is there a monthly payment for this?
There is no monthly payment but I don’t recommend the Giraufus dog tracker it broke after one month.
Does it need a sim card on it to work?
The tags are 2.4GHz RF Trackers, no SIM card is required. They are paired with a directional Base Unit which indicates direction and distance.
The original tag was lost & can’t sync replacement because I can’t deactivate a lost tag. What do I do?
You don’t need to deactivate the lost one. Just resynchronize a new tag with the basis station. You can find the tutorial video on internet .Unfortunately we cannot share external link here.
Is this the blue tag that only works in the 3 spot located on the base, or can i buy multiple of these and synch them to any number?
Yes you can sync any color to any search button. The only restriction is that you have to sync one after the other 1,2,3,4 and you cannot sync on 1 and 2, leave 3 empty and then sync on the 4.
How far of a distance will this track?
you can track the Tag-Modul up to 500 Meters. But you need the whole system. This is only the Tag-Modul for our pet tracker. If I order a tag here it seems that it will be a white one. Since my blue tag broke is there any way I can order a blue one?
My replacement tag was pink, after the collar came off and I never could find the first tag.
My dog chewed up the first tracker so i ordered a new tracker. i can’t get the device to pair with the new tracker. good batteries. any suggestions?
The pairing only works at the conditions including the number of beeps the manual states, so make sure that it really works according to the manual.
Does this item come with rechargeable batteries?
the item i received included one battery but not rechargeable type.
what is the distance?
the distance that you can reach with the Girafus pro-TRACK-tor 227PA is up to 500 Meters. The Tag work only with the Girafus pro-TRACK-tor.
does this replacement tag come with a rechargeable battery?
I don’t think they don’t come with replacement batteries, although I’m not 100% sure. I ordered a pack of replacement rechargeable batteries from Amazon, so that I can be charging two of them while the animals are wearing their tags.
How do you track on your phone or somewhere else?
It doesn’t connect to your phone, it gets a signal from the remote control.
