OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. This Dryer does not require assembly.
  2. If you find any odor/smell when opening the packaging, please leave it in a well-ventilated place and dry for 1 day before use.
  3. Keep the surrounding area clean and well. Cluttered areas invite accidents. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
  4. Plug your dryer into any 120-volt standard US household electrical outlet.
  5. Raise dryer arms until they lock into place that you can see the [button to shrink Rack]. Note the locking clip[button to shrink dryer] located at the base of the left arm. This clip must be pulled toward the front of the unit before the arms can be lowered again.
  6. The upper portion of the arms can be pulled upwards to lock in an extended position[button to shrink rack]. Use this position when drying high boots, skates, or ski boots. Use an unextended rack position for regular shoes or gloves.
    • Note: the locking clips[button to shrink rack] on the top of the arms must be pressed down to lower the arms once they have been extended.
  7. Turn the timer in a clockwise direction to the position matching the desired drying time(60=60 minutes or 1 hour, etc.). This will start the dryer. You can hear the ticking sound, which means the timer countdown is working.
  8. Place footwear on the arms allowing the arms to reach as far as possible up into the shoe.
    • This Dryer will get warm, reaching its maximum temperature(constant temperature 104℉-140℉) in 5 minutes, but it does not get hot. This Dryer can dry footwear without damage to any type of material, including leather, rubber, PVC, neoprene, cloth, fleece, felt, canvas, synthetics, and fabrics.
  9. When finished drying, remove the plug from the outlet, remove shoes/gloves from the dryer, and push and hold the pitch button to return the brackets to the closed position.
  10. To interrupt or stop drying turn the timer knob counter-clockwise to the “OFF” position.
  11. If the dryer malfunctions(irregular noise, smell, overheating, smoke), turn the timer to the “OFF” position and cut the power by unplugging the cord from the outlet.

Why do I need a Dryer?

There are two major benefits of the use of the Dryer:

  1. Makes you more comfortable:
    • Wet footwear has been proven to promote painful blisters and offers a habitat to contaminants such as bacteria and fungus that can cause skin irritations like athlete’s foot.
    • By removing moisture and eliminating contaminants, this Dryer provides a healthier, more comfortable environment for your skin.
  2. Makes your footwear and gear last longer:
    • Prompt and proper drying with safe-for-all materials. This Dryer helps maintain the “like new” look and feel and prolongs the life of your valuable footwear and gear, ultimately saving you money.
    • What’s the best way to use the Dryer?
    • For starters, use it all the time. Mother Nature’s wetness isn’t the only thing that needs drying. Perspiration should be dried every day to maximize your comfort, prolong the life of your footwear and gear, and eliminate odor.
    • Our fan-assisted products are timer-equipped.
    • How long will it take the Dryer to dry my footwear or gear?
    • Drying time will vary depending on the material and saturation level. These Dryers allow products to dry at a rate that won’t damage them or melt. There’s no sense in drying super-fast when the result will be hurtful to your footwear or gear.
    • Can you dry taller footwear like knee boots, hip boots, and chest waders?
    • Yes, this Dryers have extendable dryer arms to dry and remove odors from such footwear.

Is the Dryer safe?

  1. Family safe. Utilizing thermal convection, these Dryers do not get hot to the touch, so they do not pose a hazard to children (or pets for that matter).
  2. Material safe. Thermal convection and the other technologies upon which our Dryer functionality is based will not damage your footwear or gear, and are safe for all kinds of materials such as leather, canvas, rubber, PVC, synthetics, cloth, fleece, felt, neoprene and micro fabrics.

Will the Dryer increase my electric bill?

  • Hardly. This Dryer is an extremely energy-efficient product.
