DESCRIPTION

It’s hard to tell from the picture… is the black finish actually black? The picture displays very dark brown on my monitor.****
It is very dark in color. I wouldn’t say that it is black or dark brown. It matches my other cherry-finished furniture.
What is the width depth and height of this table?****
It is 18 x 18 x 22 inches.
Is the white a bright white or more of an off-white?****
I wanted off-white tables in this size so based on these older answers ordered two white tables. My tables are lovely but very bright white. My husband spray-painted them an ivory color so now they are perfect. Can’t beat the price, either.
what is the size of this table?****
I am not sure of the size, I believe it gives the dimensions in the description. It’s actually a good size table if you are looking for something to put in a small area.
Can the “Natural” color be stained?****
No, only bare wood should be stained. This already has a protective coating on it – perhaps polyurethane as other products by this company have.
Assuming that the 18X18 is in reference to the tabletop, what is the outside width of the legs?****
The outside width of the legs is 15 inches. This table is awesome. So easy to assemble and looks expensive and well-made.
I don’t understand how the drawer stopper works or where it’s supposed to go – that little wooden peg. Can someone clarify?****
If you open the drawer, It goes in the wooden panel under the top of the table. I think it helps the drawer from opening by itself.
Can the bottom section fit a standard milk crate?****
Depends on the size. Clearance from the bottom of the drawer going down to the top of the bottom shelf is 9.33 inches. Shelf dimensions are 13.31 inches wide x 14.88 inches deep. The static weight capacity of the bottom shelf is 30 lbs. If the milk crate exceeds any of these dimensions, I would not recommend it.
is the back of it finished?****
Yes. All backsides are finished including the drawer.
Can I get this in espresso?****
Not sure about that. Should have available colors listed.
How do I put in the wooden dowel?****
There is a hole under the top of the table. Easy to push in.
I put this together, according to the instructions and it is wobbly. Is there any way to stabilize it?****
My son, who put the table together said our was a little wobbly at the beginning also. He thinks we got rid of the wobbles by putting items on the tabletop, and as I mentioned in my review, our 17-lb dog lies on the bottom shelf.
Can this be assembled without the shelf?****
No it cannot. The shelf is needed to support the rest of the table. It’s a very nice table with a shelf though.
Is the bottom shelf optional, or is it necessary for the structure of the table? I want to put a record player on top and vinyl underneath.****
The bottom shelf screws to the legs and gives the table extra support. I wouldn’t use it without the shelf. However, perhaps the vinyl would work in place of it. Only one way to find out.
How much assembly is required? Does it come in all small pieces that have to be totally put together?****
Yes it comes in pieces, if you don’t have experience putting items like this together have someone else help you. If that’s too much. Pass don’t order. I have experience doing this kind of stuff and I still put a screw in wrong and it went thru tabletop! You have to make sure you read the instructions carefully!
