About

The STRUMIS Interface ensures consistent and upto-date information flows to and from the ProNest® nesting software. This synchronization eliminates data duplication and rework, improves data quality, and increases information sharing across the organization. Data connectivity is a critical enabler to promote efficiency, increase value, and maintain competitiveness.

How it works

The STRUMIS Interface module is easy to set up and simple to manage. Both STRUMIS and ProNest software must be installed on the same PC or virtual machine to work together. Once installation is complete, this enables real- time data transfer. Parts can be sent from STRUMIS to ProNest in DXF or DSTV format for optimized nesting layout. ProNest arranges the parts to minimize scrap and maximize material efficiency. As nests are created and processed, results are immediately available in STRUMIS.

Standard feature highlights

STRUMIS utilizes ProNest nesting engine to create nests from available parts and plate batches
Nesting results can be reviewed in STRUMIS and used for estimating jobs or ordering new materials
Nests, plates used, remnants created, and nest statistics are sent back to STRUMIS, which can be stored for future use

Automatic Nesting (Required)

The Automatic Nesting module is required to create nests from parts and plates sent from STRUMIS. Alternatively, users may upgrade to the Nesting System Optimization module which is recommended for even better material utilization.
