use them
It is important to know the functionalities and proper usage of the Razer Iskur to surely achieve that ideal gaming form. By realizing how the Iskur’s height, backrest, and armrests adjust, you can have consistent execution, maximum responsiveness, and longer peak performance. In addition, knowing the proper usage – the minimum and maximum operating limits of the Razer Iskur will help avoid damaging the chair or cause injury to yourself or others.
Lumbar support adjustment – with Razer Iskur’s ergonomic lumbar support system you can enjoy total lower back support, a fully adjustable lumbar curve that closely aligns to your spine—ensuring ideal posture for maximum comfort in gaming marathons.
To adjust the lumbar support do the following:
- While seated on the chair, lift the lumbar support lever.
- Release the lever once the preferred position is achieved.
The lumbar support can protrude up to 130 mm.
If you encounter an issue where the lumbar support does not move after pulling the lever, do the following:
- Slide out the lumbar support lever from the holder.
2. Turn the lever counterclockwise three times and adjust the fasteners so that they are flush with the lever.
Height adjustment
To raise or lower the seat do the following:
- To allow the seat to rise, raise your body as you lift the gas lift cylinder lever then release the lever once the preferred height is achieved.
- To lower the seat, remain seated, lift the gas lift cylinder lever then release when the preferred height is achieved.
The gas lift height can be adjusted up to 90 mm.
Backseat adjustment
To adjust the backseat do the following:
- To recline the backseat, pull the backseat lever and lean backward to recline to the preferred angle then push down the lever to lock.
- To reduce backseat reclination, lean forward as you pull the backseat lever then push down the lever to lock once the preferred angle is achieved.
The backseat can be reclined up to 126 degrees.
Seat tilt adjustment
To tilt the seat do the following:
- To recline the seat, lift the tilt mechanism lever and lean backward to the preferred angle then push down the lever to lock.
- To reduce seat reclination, lift the tilt mechanism lever and lean forward then push down the lever to lock once the preferred angle is achieved.
The seat can be tilted up to 11 degrees.
Note: If the seat tilts too easily or requires a lot of effort, adjust the tension knob. Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten.
Armrests adjustment – Razer Iskur’s 4D armrests allow a fully customizable positioning, helps match the way you sit.
To adjust the height of the armrests do the following:
- Push the armrests height adjustment button and raise or lower the armrests.
- Release the button once the preferred position is achieved.
- To move the armrests forward and backward, left and right, or inward and outward, push the armrests “2” and “3” adjustment buttons.

Proper assembly of the Razer Iskur is important as it prevents unnecessary discomfort, wobbling, or noise that may affect your posture and gaming.

How to disassemble the Razer Iskur
Proper disassembly and packing of the Razer Iskur are as important as the proper assembly of the chair. It is to prevent damages while being stored or transported.
Tools needed:
- Rubber mallet
- Pipe wrench
- Flathead screwdriver
- Hex key “P”
- Microfiber cloth
- Penetrating lubricant
- Putty-like adhesive or tape
Below are the steps on how to disassemble the Razer Iskur:
Note: It is recommended to put the chair over a smooth work surface to protect it from scratch and any other types of damage during the process.
- Set the chair to its lowest height.
- Adjust both armrests to their lowest height and make sure that the pads are straight.
- Recline the backrest to its lowest position.
- Remove the head cushion “D”.
- Turn the chair upside down. Grab the base “B” then pull out the caster wheels “E”. If the caster wheels “E” are difficult to pull out, you may need to apply some penetrating lubricant between the wheel and wheelbase and leave it for five minutes before trying again.
- Apply some penetrating lubricant between the gas lift cylinder “J” and wheelbase “B” and leave it for five minutes.
- Dislodge the cylinder “J” by hitting it with the rubber mallet wrapped in a microfiber cloth. Make sure you hit only the outer rim (where the arrow is pointing at) of the gas lift cylinder and avoid using too much force when hammering.
- Apply some penetrating lubricant between the gas lift cylinder “J” and tilt mechanism “H” and leave it for five minutes.
- Remove the gas lift cylinder “J” from the tilt mechanism “H” by gripping it firmly and twisting it out using the pipe wrench. Grip the part of the gas lift cylinder closest to the tilt mechanism. Then, separate the cylinder cover “I” from the cylinder “J”.
- Detach the tilt mechanism “H” by unfastening screws “M” and “L” using the hex key “P”.
- Slide out the lumbar support lever “A1” from the holder then unclip to release the cord.
- Remove the plastic screw caps “O” and “N” using a putty-like adhesive or tape.
- Unfasten the screws “K” on the side covers “F” and “G” to remove.
- Unfasten the screws “L” on the support brackets to detach the backrest “A” from the seat “C”.
How to pack the Razer Iskur
Before you pack your Razer Iskur, ensure that you already checked out How to disassemble the Razer Iskur.
Proper packing is also important as it will help prevent damages while the chair is being stored or transported.
Note: This guide applies to whole chair replacements in case of manufacturing defects. For convenience returns, the Razer Iskur needs to be packed in its original condition and original packaging as stated in the return and refund policies.
To pack your Razer Iskur, you need the following:
- Box with dimensions not smaller than 37.27 in x 30.26 in x 17.53 in (WxHxD)
- Cushioning materials
- Wraps
- Fillers
- Plastic bag
- Packaging tape
- Cutter
- Dismantle the Razer Iskur and wrap the parts separately as shown below: You can use any available wrapping materials you have, bubble wrap or pad for example. For the accessories, you can store them in a plastic bag or a small box.
- Once done wrapping the parts, prepare the box to store them in to and ensure that the size is enough.
- Store the parts in the box with the following sequence:
- Seat “C”
- Accessories
- Base “B”
- Head cushion “D”
- Backrest “A”
We recommend putting a cushioning in between layers for added protection.
- Optional: you may put some fillers for added protection. For example, foam peanuts or crumpled newspapers.
- Seal the package. Ensure to apply packaging tape evenly across the top and bottom flaps and seams.
Note: If you are to ship your Razer Iskur, it is recommended to check the packing procedure of your chosen courier to avoid issues and delays.

How to adjust the Razer Iskur’s lumbar support
While seated on the chair, lift the lumbar support lever to raise the lumbar support. Adjust it to your desired position and release the lever to lock it in place.

Step-by-step process
Lumbar support lever adjustment
This will also help fix an issue where the lumbar support does not move after pulling the lever.

Push the button on the holder.

Slide the lever out from the holder.

Turn the lever counterclockwise to increase cable tension. The recommended setting is to leave about 5-7 mm of the bolt end in the lever.

Adjust the fasteners so that they are flush with the lever.

Re-install the lever into the holder.
Lumbar support adjustment
- To allow the lumbar support to protrude, slightly lean your body forward as you lift the lever.
- Release the lever to lock once the preferred position is achieved.
- To retract the lumbar curve, push against the lumbar support as you lift the lever.
- Release the lever to lock once the preferred position is achieved.
Troubleshooting
How to replace broken caster wheels on the Razer Iskur
Broken caster wheels may cause your Razer Iskur to get stuck or become rigid whenever you try to roll it to other places. To replace broken caster wheels on your Razer Iskur, you may need a penetrating lubricant in case the wheel is stubborn.
Note: It is recommended to put the chair over a smooth work surface to protect it from scratch and any other types of damage during the process.
- Remove the head cushion “D”.
- Turn the chair upside down. Grab the base “B” then pull out the caster wheels “E”. If the caster wheels “E” are difficult to pull out, you may need to apply some penetrating lubricant between the wheel and wheelbase and leave it for five minutes before trying again.
- Attach replacement caster wheels “E” to the base “B”. Ensure that they click into place.
How to replace the cylinder on the Razer Iskur
A faulty chair cylinder may cause your Razer Iskur to sink every time you sit on it or you can no longer adjust the height. To replace the faulty cylinder on your Razer Iskur, you will need the following tools:
- Rubber mallet
- Microfiber cloth
- Pipe wrench
Note: It is recommended to put the chair over a smooth work surface to protect it from scratch and any other types of damage during the process.
- Remove the head cushion “D”.
- Turn the chair upside down then apply some penetrating lubricant between the gas lift cylinder and wheelbase and leave it for five minutes.
- Dislodge the cylinder “J” by hitting it with the rubber mallet wrapped in a microfiber cloth. Make sure you hit only the outer rim (where the arrow is pointing at) of the gas lift cylinder and avoid using too much force when hammering.
- Apply some penetrating lubricant between the gas lift cylinder “J” and tilt mechanism “H” and leave it for five minutes.
- Remove the gas lift cylinder “J” from the tilt mechanism “H” by gripping it firmly and twisting it out using the pipe wrench. Grip the part of the gas lift cylinder closest to the tilt mechanism. Then, separate the cylinder cover “I” from the cylinder “J”.
- Insert the replacement cylinder “J” into the center of the base “B” then place the cylinder cover “I” on top.
- Connect base “B” assembly to the chair by inserting the cylinder “J” into the mechanism “H”.
Why is my Razer Iskur wobbling?
Wobbling may be caused by improper assembly. Make sure all screws are properly tightened. You may need to check the assembly guide again to make sure that the parts have been installed correctly.
I cannot tilt the Razer Iskur
Make sure that the tilt mechanism is not locked. Lift the tilt mechanism lever to unlock, adjust as needed and push the lever down to lock. You can also adjust the tension knob and see if it helps. Refer to the product manual or watch the Razer Iskur operating guide video.
The caster wheels on my Razer Iskur are stuck
Stuck chair caster wheels are often caused by accumulated dirt, hair, or strings. Here are some tips on how to fix stuck caster wheels:
- Clean the dirt from the caster wheels using a scrub, brush or compressed air. You may also use water with soap to soften the dirt or gunk.
- Applying a small amount of lubricant on the wheel and hub axle may also help.
How to remove squeaking on the Razer Iskur
The common reasons why a gaming chair becomes squeaky are improper assembly or rust on parts. Here are some tips on how to remove squeaking on your Iskur
- Identify which part the squeaking coming from and make sure that it is properly installed and all screws properly tightened.
- Once the source of the squeaking is identified, apply a few drops of lubricant to help remove the squeaking.
