BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.
Place the device in a well ventilated space.

USE

Slightly grease the non-stick coating of the baking plates with oil or butter.
Close the device and plug it into the wall outlet. Both indication lights will illuminate, indicating that the device is now preheating.
It will take approximately 3 minutes to reach the recommended baking temperature. The green power indication light will go off once the device is ready to use.
Fill each mold with batter. Make sure the batter is spread evenly in the molds.

Gently close the lid, ensuring it is locked well. Do not slam the lid down, as it may cause the mixture to run off the molds.
The appliance is designed to flip over, this allows you to spread the batter evenly.
The actual preparation time will vary depending on the type of batter you use. A general guide line is 2 to 3 minutes preparation time.
To remove the Churros, always use a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use a sharp or metal object, as this will damage the non-stick coating of the baking plates.

TIPS

Fill each mold with batter by using a jug, spoon or piping bag. Especially a piping bag is very practical for filling the molds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the device to cool both halves open.
Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or soft brush.
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
