QUICK GUIDE

If you have an IOS device:
Go to the App Store and download the IKEA Home smart app. The app will take you through the process of installing your gateway and other devices.

If you have an Android device:
Go to Google Play and download the IKEA Home smart app. The app will take you through the process of installing your gateway and other devices.

GATEWAY FUNCTIONS

ON/OFF
Light off: The power is off
Light on: The power is on

Network
Light off: There is no TRÅDFRI network.
Light pulsing: No connected TRÅDFRI devices are found.
Light on: Your TRÅDFRI network is connected.

Internet
Lights off: There is no Internet connection.
Lights pulsing: You are not properly connected to the Internet.
Lights on: There is an Internet connection.

Pairing: Follow the instructions below to add IKEA Smart Lighting products to your system.

ADDING DEVICES TO YOUR GATEWAY

You cannot add light sources directly to your gateway. A TRÅDFRI steering device is needed to add them.

ADDING STEERING DEVICES TO YOUR GATEWAY

To add steering devices, just follow the steps below:

If you have an IOS device:
Go to the App Store and download the IKEA Home smart app. The app will take you through the process of adding devices.

If you have an Android device:
Go to Google Play and download the IKEA Home smart app. The app will take you through the process of adding devices.

FACTORY RESET

Open and remove the gateway lid. Push a pin into the pinhole on top of the gateway for at least 5 seconds.

IMPORTANT!

  • The gateway is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40 ºC (32 ºF to 104 ºF).
  • Do not leave the gateway in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
  • Do not subject the gateway to wet, moist, or excessively dusty environments, as this may cause damage.
  • The range between the gateway and the receiver is measured in the open air.
  • Different building materials and placement of the units can affect the wireless connectivity range.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To clean the gateway, wipe with a soft cloth moistened with a little mild detergent. Use another soft, dry cloth
to wipe dry.

NOTE!
Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents as this can damage the product.

According to RF exposure regulations, under normal operations, the end-user shall refrain from being closer than 20 cm from the device.
