Water-Resistant Bluetooth Speaker
What’s in the box
1 x OFFBEAT – Hybrid Bluetooth speaker 1 x AC adaptor
1 x Users manual 1 x AUX cable
Charge OFFBEAT – Hybrid (7.4V rechargeable battery built-in)
- Connect OFFBEAT – Hybrid to AC adaptor included, plug AC adaptor to the socket.
- Red LED turns ON during charging, turns OFF after fully charged.
- Unplug AC adaptor after fully charged.
Note:
- Red LED blinks if the voltage is less than 6.3V
- Red LED blinks quickly if the voltage is less than 6.0V, and turns off automatically in 10 seconds.
Sarting OFFBEAT – Hybrid Bluetooth Speakert
- After fully charged, long-press the POWER button to turn on the speaker.
- OFFBEAT – Hybrid is in standby mode after power-on, blue LED blinks.
- OFFBEAT – Hybrid turn off itself for power-saving purposes if idle for 5-10 minutes.
- Press any button located on top to activate OFFBEAT – Hybrid from standby mode.
- To manually turn off OFFBEAT – Hybrid Bluetooth Speaker, long-press the POWER button again.
Paring OFFBEAT – Hybrid with mobiles( Bluetooth enabled) and Tablets.
- Keep the speaker and mobile/ tablet within a range of 1 meter when pairing.
- Long press POWER button to turn on OFFBEAT – Hybrid, blue LED blinks, the speaker is the standby for pairing.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function of mobile/ tablet and search through the Bluetooth devices. Select OFFBEAT – Hybrid in the Bluetooth device list. As per the pairing process, you may need to enter a passkey (0000) depending on the Bluetooth version of the devices.
- After successful pairing, select“ OFFBEAT – Hybrid” in the Bluetooth device list, and Press“ connect”
5- After successful connecting, LED changes to solid Blue.
Note:

If the pairing is not successful, first turn off the speaker, and then repeat the pairing procedure.

After successful pairing, paired devices will remain paired unless pairing information is deleted ( no need to pair when used next time).

OFFBEAT – Hybrid goes to“ searching” status with LED blinks in blue quickly if paired device is out
of 10 meters range, they return to paired automatically after back to 10 meters range. -
If you want to pair OFFBEAT – Hybrid with a different device, first disconnect with the existing device by either long-pressing the BLUETOOTH button located on top of OFFBEAT – Hybrid or switching off
Bluetooth connection of the existing device, and then pair with the new device according to steps 1-5 above.
Paring OFFBEAT – Hybrid with iPhone, iPad
- Please keep OFFBEAT – Hybrid and iPhone( iPad) within a range of 1 meter when pairing.
- Turn on OFFBEAT – Hybrid, blue LED blinks, the unit is on standby for pairing.
- In iPhone( iPad) General > Bluetooth, tap on Bluetooth function, and search the Bluetooth devices, tap OFFBEAT – Hybrid to connect it.
Paring OFFBEAT – Hybrid with PC or notebook
- Please keep OFFBEAT – Hybrid and PC within a range of 1 meter when pairing.
- Turn on OFFBEAT – Hybrid, blue LED blinks, the unit is on standby for pairing.
- Run the Bluetooth program of your system.
- Please use the “ Search new device” function in the program.
- Your system should find OFFBEAT – Hybrid on your dialog, then double-click the icon to confirm the program should show the connection has been made. As per of the pairing process, you may need to enter a passkey (0000) depending on the Bluetooth version of the devices.
Re-connecting to a paired device
Each time OFFBEAT – Hybrid is turned on, it has 2 options:
- Connect to the last connected devices automatically, then just start music playback.
- Listed in the screen of devices as an output channel, then select OFFBEAT – Hybrid Bluetooth Speaker as output channel and play music.
PLAY/ PAUSE/ HAND-FREE, NEXT/ PREVIOUS
When OFFBEAT – Hybrid is playing music via Bluetooth
- Press PLAY/ PAUSE/ HAND-FREE to stop the music.
- Press again to restart the music.
- Press NEXT to go to the next song.
- Press PREVIOUS to go back to the previous song.
When there is a coming call when OFFBEAT – Hybrid is playing music via Bluetooth
- Press PLAY/ PAUSE/ HAND-FREE to answer the phone call.
- Press again to end the call.
Power-Bank: Use the“ USB OUT” port to charge your mobile devices via OFFBEAT – Hybrid’s built-in battery.

Connect OFFBEAT – Hybrid with mobile devices via cable( not supplied)
Volume control

Control volume via the Bluetooth device itself.

Control volume via the volume +/- buttons located on top of the Speaker.
AUX port

AUX port can connect to any music device via the AUX cable( included).
LED changes to a Green color after the AUX port is plugged. -
Play music through the devices connected.

OFFBEAT – Hybrid turns off itself for power-saving purposes if idle for 5-10 minutes.
Power-Bank function

Connect your mobile devices to the USB-OUT port of OFFBEAT – Hybrid via the original USB cable
supplied with devices themselves. -
OFFBEAT – Hybrid is going to charge your mobile devices as a power bank.

Make sure OFFBEAT – Hybrid is connected through Bluetooth or aux-in cable is connected to the speaker while charging so that speaker does not power off automatically.

Unplug the USB cable after charge.

Aux-in cable can be connected to the speaker without connecting it to the phone while charging,just to avoid the auto shut down feature of the speaker
Water-Resistant
- OFFBEAT – Hybrid is compliant with IPx5 waterproof standard“ splash-proof in all directions”.
- USB cover located on the rear side of OFFBEAT – Hybrid must be CLOSED.
- Neither put OFFBEAT – Hybrid under jet-water nor sinks into the water.
Pairing OFFBEAT – Hybrid via NFC function with NFC enabled devices
- Turn on OFFBEAT – Hybrid
- Enable NFC and Bluetooth on your phone( NFC settings may be found under your devices’ ore/Additional Settings”)
- Lightly swipe your phone down the NFC logo on top of the device, while making minimal contact. The indicator shall turn solid ON that means successfully paired.
- Compatibility: Most smartphones with NFC running Android 4.1 “Jellybean” and later.
