Heed all warnings.

Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

The mains plug is used as disconnect device. The mains plug of apparatus should not be obstructed OR should be easily accessed during intended use. To be completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug or
apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains. -
Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

AC OPERATION
Before operation, please make sure that the unit is set to the voltage
corresponds to the VOLTAGE of your local area. Insert one end of the supplied
power cord into the AC Socket at the side of the unit, and the other
end into the wall outlet.
Note : When the power cord is not being used, disconnect it from the wall
outlet.
BATTERY OPERATION
Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 4 x UM-1 D size batteries, make sure to observe the proper polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment.
USING THE DC POWER INPUT JACK
Plug one end of the 6V AC adaptor (not included) into the unit’s DC Jack (6V), and then plug the other end into AC wall outlet. Before switching on the unit, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate
RADIO OPERATION
- Set the FUNCTION Switch to RADIO position.
- Set the Band Switch to AM or FM position.
- Rotate the TUNING Control to select the desired radio station.
- For FM reception, adjust the rod antenna appropriately to obtain best reception.
- Adjust the VOLUME Control to the desired listening level.
- To turn off the radio, set the FUNCTION Switch to TAPE/OFF position
CASSETTE OPERATION
Tape Playback
1. Press the STOP/EJECT Button to open the cassette door, insert a cassette
tape into the Cassette
Compartment and push the cassette door to close.
2. Slide the FUNCTION Switch to TAPE/OFF position and press the PLAY Button
to start playing the tape.
3. Adjust the VOLUME Control to your desired volume level.
4. To stop the tape, simply press the STOP/EJECT Button.
Fast Forward and Rewind
The tape can be fast forward or rewind by pressing the F.F. Button or REW Button respectively.
Auto Stop System
When the tape runs to its end during playback or recording, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
Caution : To avoid damage to the cassette mechanism or to the cassette tape, always press the STOP Button between each operation Recording From Radio

Set the FUNCTION Switch to RADIO position.

Tune to desired radio program as described in the ‘RADIO OPERATION’ section.

Insert a blank cassette tape into the Cassette Compartment.

Press the REC Button and the PLAY Button simultaneously to start recording. With the built-in Automatic Level Control (ALC), the best recording quality is automatically adjusted. Changing the volume level will
not affect the recording. -
To stop recording, press the STOP/EJECT Button.
-
When the tape runs to its end, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
Recording From Built-In Microphone

Set the FUNCTION Switch to TAPE/OFF position.
-
Insert a blank cassette tape into the Cassette Compartment.
-
Press the REC Button and the PLAY Button simultaneously to start recording. With the built-in Automatic Level Control (ALC), the best recording quality is automatically adjusted. Changing the volume level will
not affect the recording. -
To stop recording, press the STOP/EJECT Button.

When the tape runs to its end, the cassette operation will be stopped automatically.
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Connecting BLUETOOTH
- Slide the FUNCTION Switch to BT position, the BT indicator will light up.
- Turn on the Bluetooth of your Bluetooth device and search the unit for connection. Your Bluetooth device should find “HX-601K HANNLOMAX”.
- Pair your Bluetooth device with the unit.
- Select and play the audio file though your Bluetooth device.
Auto Paring
The unit has auto pairing function. Once the unit paired with the Bluetooth
device, it will automatically pair with that device next time when you turn on
the unit and that Bluetooth device.
Turn Off the Bluetooth Operation
To turn off the BLUETOOTH operation, slide the FUNCTION Switch to other
position (RADIO or TAPE/OFF).
STEREO HEADPHONE JACK
For private listening, insert the plug of a stereo headphone into the Earphone
Jack and adjust the VOLUME Control Knob accordingly. During the use of a
headphone, the speaker is automatically disconnected.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Always turn off the unit after use.

Keep the unit away from magnetic objects, water or heat sources.

Use a clean soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water to clean the cabinet. Never use chemical cleaners that could damage the finish of the unit.

Disconnect the unit from any power sources before cleaning.
-
If the tape is loose in its cassette, take up the stack by inserting a pencil in one of the reels and rotating.
-
If the tape is loose it may get stretched, cut or caught in the cassette player.
-
Do not touch the tape surface.
-
To prevent recordings from being erased accidentally, remove the tab(s) A and B
-
To record after the tabs have been broken off, reseal the A and B with a piece of adhesive tape.
