Why does my COMET8 fail to pair with my phone?
If your phone fails to pair, we suggest you restart you phone, try to pair with the unit again making sure your phone is in search mode. The COMET8 will show up on your phone as (COMET8) and all you need to do is click on this line and you will be connected. If you phone fails to connect it is a problem with your process or your phone. If it fails then redo the above steps, as it is unlikely to be the COMET8 unit at fault. -
Can PLAY music through the USB port?

Yes with your COMET8 you can play music (MP3 files) from the USB port. The COMET8 unit has an AUX, Bluetooth, Micro SD card and USB inputs to take care of all your input needs.

Why is the Aux input volume lower than the Microphone input volume?

Turn the volume up on your phone or device, then adjust volume on the COMET8

Why will my unit not charge?
Check the power cable is correctly inserted and is not faulty. Internal battery is completely flat and requires to be returned to manufacturer for assessment and possible repair.

Charging Internal Battery
- Insert the micro USB end of the supplied USB cable into the COMET8 DC 5V input slot and the USB end into a DC 5V power supply
- The charging light indicator will show red when charging
- Once fully charged the charging light indicator will turn off
- Charge time approx 3 hours
Charging Internal Battery Via Power Bank
This device can be charged via an external Power Bank power supply, but only if there is sufficient charge left in the internal battery. It will not charge if its completely flat. Make sure power banks meet COMET8 minimum power supply requirements for charging.
NOTE: To prolong battery life it is test to fully recharge the battery after use. If storing for a long period of of time it is test to recharge the battery every month.
Bluetooth Pairing
To pair your Bluetooth enabled device with the COMET8
- Turn the power of the COMET8 on.
- Press the MODE button on the control panel to switch between.
- Wording ‘BLUE’ flashes on the digital display for Bluetooth mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for COMET8 to pair.
- Once successfully paired the wording ‘BLUE’ will stop flashing.
