IKEA VARDAGEN Pot with Lid Enamelled Cast Iron Matt
Before First Use
- Before using this product for the first time, wash, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Cleaning

The cookware is best washed by hand after use.
Use hot water and washing-up detergent. Dry carefully after cleaning. -
Do not use steel wool or anything that can scratch the surface of the cookware.
Good To Know
- This cookware is suitable for use on all types of hobs and in ovens.
- Use the cookware on a hob of the same or smaller diameter to save energy.
- Bear in mind that the handles get hot when the cookware is in use. Always use pot holders when moving the cookware and lifting the lid.
- Always lift the cookware when moving it on a glass hob or ceramic hob. Do not pull it across the hob due to the risk of scratching.
- Do not expose the cookware to heavy variations in temperature, e.g. by moving it from the fridge directly to the cooker, due to the risk of cracking.
- Be careful not to hit or drop the cookware against a hard surface, because then the cookware or the enamel can break.
