Important Safety Warning and Instructions
WARNING
- Use extreme caution when using this product as the blades are very sharp.
- To avoid personal injury, never handle the peeler by the blade.
- When using the slicing board, make sure to leave the top on the produce you are slicing. This acts as a buffer to your fingers.
To Use the Peeler
- Make sure produce is dry before you begin the peeling process.
- We recommend placing the item to be peeled on a cutting board. Hold the unit with one hand and peeler in the other.
- Carefully hold the item you are peeling by the top while slowly shaving in a downward and then upward motion. Excessive speed can lead to accidental injury.
- Use the built-in garnishing features on the Julienne Tool to create garnishes.
- The built-in garnishing features can also be used to remove imperfections on produce.
CAUTION: Blades are extremely sharp! KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Learn safe cooking practices before use.
To Use the Mandoline Attachment
1. Insert Mandoline through the middle section of the serrated peeler with the point facing the same direction as the handle.
2. Move the peeler up until the blade lands in the designated opening. The teeth should be facing outward.
3. Hold the ensemble on an angle, resting the bottom of the slicing board on a cutting board. Without applying too much pressure, slowly move the item to be sliced in a back and forth motion.
Care
- The Titan Peeler is dishwasher safe and can be placed in the top rack, flat with blades facing down, to avoid accidental contact.
- Use extra caution when hand washing the peeler blades. We recommend using a non-abrasive sponge with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and lay flat to dry
