- Let air dry completely (24-48 hrs.) before placing back in machine
-
Remove the Post Motor filter on side of machine and tap against a waste bin to remove any debris
-
Dirty filters could damage the motor and cause it to sound loud
-
Remove the Brush Access Plate by unscrewing the 4 screws on the bottom
- There are 2 screws in front and 2 behind the brush
-
Remove the Brush Access Plate to access the brush and belt
-
Inspect the brush and belt and replace if either are damaged
- The brush should spin freely by hand
- To test the brush, stand brush up on table and swipe hand across bristles
- If turns freely, brush is ok
- If brush doesn’t turn, replacement brush will need to be ordered
- The belt should be fully intact
- If the brush does not spin freely, it may create noise as the belt tries to spin the brush
-
Remove the brush and belt from the machine and turn on the vacuum
- If the noise is gone, a new brush will be needed
-
If the noise is still present, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
