The TF card slot and reset button sits above the camera lens, push the camera lens downwards, open the cover with a screwdriver to insert or remove a TF card.

Component description

Please press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds.. You have reset the camera successfully when you hear the short voice. It is recommended to insert 4-64GB high-speed Micro TF card, otherwise it will not be able to store, view historical video and support important functions such as firmware upgrading.

1.Install Y1 loT APP

Download APP: scan the QR code below to download and install. Register and login: open the VI IOT APP to register and login according to the prompts.
VI IOT service supports PC downloads (Only support Windows, Mac cannot be supported) Please download from this website: http://yunyiiot.corn/html/download.html

2. Add The Device
Please make sure that Goowls camera connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and works well.(Not support 5G network) Find the USB port on the bottom of the device and plug in the power cord to power It on, please wait 20 seconds until you hear “DiDiDi”. Then go to APP home page, click the ‘+’ on the main screen, configure according to the instructions in the APP.

4. How to connect with Amazon Alexa

Requirement:

1. Amazon Alexa device and Alexa app.
2. the smart Wi-Fi camera connected with YI loT App.
3. Y1 loT App user ID and password.
4. Please make sure your Alexa device has been added in the “Add Device” of the Alexa app
   Add YI loT as a Skill for Alexa Open Alexa app and choose Skill & Games -> Search for Y1 loT -> ENABLE TO USE -> Enter the YI loT account -> Authorize to use -> And then, the device you added on YI loT App will sync to Alexa App. Also, you can ask Alexa to discover new devices for you in this moment.
   Note: you need to set exact name for the smart camera on YI loT App, if not, Alexa may tell you: ” Sorry, I can’t find the device named xxx…”

How can I receive the notification from app?

Step 1:Make sure turn on the Motion detection. 1)Enter the camera “Settings’of Y1 lot 2)Find the’Smart Detection-Settings-Motion” 3)Turn on the “Motion Detection” 4)Choose Sensitivity Level “High” 5)Schedule alert time”24-hour alert”
Step 2:Make sure allow notification of phone. 1)10S Enter the “Setting- Notifications-VI IOT app-Allow Notifications” 2)Andriod Enter the “Setting- Apps-YI loT-Notifications-Allow notifications-Lock screen notifications-Show”
Step 3:Please make sure both camera and phone are well connected. 1)Enter the “setting’ of phone 2)Find the VI lot app 3)Click “Wireless Data-WLAN&Cellular Data”
